Well situated in a quiet part of Loches. Free parking nearby, but full when we arrived. Very offhand welcome on a Sunday evening. No recommendations offered for restaurants or alternative parking. Nowhere offered to sit and enjoy the river views with a drink. The room smelt musty, the shower was only suitable for those under a metre tall, and the WiFi only worked downstairs. We have stayed in other properties in the Originals group, and really enjoyed them. This was a sad let down.

Very comfortable beds, modern and well equipped bathroom, good WiFi. Parking is just behind the hotel. Our room was overlooking the river and park, which is even more beautiful in the morning during sunrise. Very good breakfast with everything you need! Just 5 minutes from the old town located on the hill.

This cute property has everything I needed, and it is just quiet, warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, and the location cannot be any better. Breakfast is delicious, and the room is spacious. The overall ambiance is just so relaxing. I will definitely return and highly recommend everyone to consider Le George. Nothing, could not ask for more.

kind staff - style of the hotel ( old building) - beautiful view from the dining terrace I would have preferred an italian shower : difficulty to enter the bath !

Lovely room , very clean and comfortable , lovely view out of our window. Breakfast was perfect enough choice for the family . Staff was very helpful too especially in recommending places to eat . We will return as such a wonderful historical area to visit . Parc zoo beauval was near enough for us to travel too aswell.

Loche is not a very big place, but the hotel is within easy walking distance of all we wanted to see

Excellent setting adjacent to a small wier. Parking in the town outside was convenient and monitered. Superb restaurant in the hotel. Excellent breakfast.

The breakfast is served in a sun room overlooking a river. It is full of bird life and is a peaceful beautiful setting.

Nice room Restaurant not bad. They use Microwave so what should have been a nice bit of boar from local forest was a rather tasteless hunk of meat with no related sauce - eg Grand Veneur or marinade room was cold. Could have done with another duvet Not possible to get coffee or cold beer before 18.30 .No instructions for coffee machine

Didn't have breakfast this time We had it last year - it was very good and substantial The restaurant is great. Delicious food in the evening Had to be careful not to bang your head on the slopes on the ceiling, due to the shape of the roof. This was on the 2nd floor.
