The Poppy Sister Inn is located within walking distance of downtown, yet far enough away to be a quiet location. The outside grounds are nice, with cozy outdoor seating provided. The breakfast was yummy, the mattress very comfortable, and the staff very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I am allergic to scented laundry detergents and fabric softeners. I should have checked before booking to ask if the Inn used scented products, since this is a privately owned B&B. (Hotel chains don't use scented products.) I forgot to check, and when we checked into our room discovered that they wash the bedding with scented detergents & softeners, which made it very hard for me to sleep. This is not the Inn's fault; I should have checked before booking. I would suggest that they consider switching to fragrance-free products to accommodate all travelers. Other than this, it is a lovely place to stay, with very welcoming staff.

The breakfast was excellent and our hostess was wonderful. The location is just a few blocks from down town and eliminates the need to drive and park when going out. Nothing comes to mind.

Poppy Sister Inn is a delightful place to stay in Lodi. It's a beautiful and charming Victorian-style home in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a short walk from restaurants and shops and an easy drive to the many wineries in the area. The house and the rooms are immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The front of the house has a nice porch and a fire pit where you can relax. Tricia is a wonderful host who will make you feel at home. The breakfasts she makes are wonderful and creative! if you're visiting Lodi, this is the place to stay. I'll definitely be back. Everything was perfect!

Lovely stay! The owner accommodated an early check-in so I could get ready for a wedding and was so kind that she offered to lend me a jacket when I didn't have one. We also got a homemade breakfast! With fresh local fruit and a dutch baby! A fantastic and comfortable stay. Will and have recommended it already. No notes.

Property was centrally located, nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable, towels were soft, shower was clean and nicely appointed. The yard was beautiful with many different flowering plants, enjoyable front porch. Hostess was friendly and she prepared a delicious breakfast. Keyless entry was convenient. Coffee was Keurig and I prefer drip coffee but that is a personal preference.

Breakfast was better than expected. We loved the location for what we were doing.

Beautiful home. Perfect location. Walking distance to downtown with lots of nice restaurants. Beautiful neighborhood. Lovely hostess who prepares a scrumptious breakfast every morning. Loved everything about it. Nothing. It was perfect.

The owner was lovely, personable, accommodating. The bed and breakfast had so many little touches ...a dressing table in the bathroom, super comfy bed and beautiful spread, decorations throughout that made in cozy and inviting
