Location. A warning to future guests I’m sharing this review to make future guests aware of our experience, particularly families travelling with young children. We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We were given a basement room which did not meet our expectations, and we had serious concerns about the room and the overall suitability of the accommodation, particularly as we were travelling with an 8-month-old baby. We raised our concerns with the hotel, but ultimately felt that we could not remain there. What was most frustrating was the amount of time and effort it took to resolve the situation afterwards. The whole experience was extremely stressful and left us very disappointed with how the matter was handled. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure that future guests, particularly families with young children, have a much better experience.

Room was private at back of the hotel. It was very hot, there was no air conditioning but an electric fan was supplied in the room The heat in the room, the shower had a leak in the faucet.

Location was fantastic. Room was stuffy and hot hot hot. Even with window open 24/7 and 2 fans running 24/7. Even when outside temp was only 22 or 23 C. Bathroom had no ventilation. Room was small and hard to navigate with 2 large fans in the way.

Our stay at Huttons Hotel was absolutely lovely! ⭐️ The location was fantastic—so close to the city centre, which made getting around so convenient. The hotel staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. A special mention to Albina, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Her warmth and excellent customer service really made a difference. ❤️ Thank you, Huttons Hotel, for a wonderful stay. We would definitely be happy to come back! Highly recommended! ✨

The location and staff were probably the only good things about the hotel. Staff were really friendly. And location was ideal. Very close to centre and underground. From booking online it said large double bed and single bed. The bedroom had a small double bed and a single. Quite a small room. . The shower had very low water pressure. Lifts weren't working. I put my phone down on the bedside locker and when I picked it up covered in dust...

The staff provided me with two fans during the heatwave which was nice! There were extra towels on the shelves in the corner, and power sockets next to the bed. The elevator constantly creaks loudly and jolts abruptly, plus if you’re on the 5th floor, the doors don’t open by themselves; you have to repeatedly press the 5th floor button to get the door to open, which is explained on a note taped to the wall. The room is ridiculously tiny, the bathroom is smaller than a bathroom you’d find in a caravan, you can barely move without hitting your elbows on something. And the initial towels provided were on the bathroom floor which I later realised that my room hadn’t been cleaned, since there was a note stating to leave the towels on the bathroom floor upon checkout; not great. The wall-mounted tv was falling off and sloppily bolted with VERY loose bolts, it could fall off with a good tug. Overall, it was the bathroom that was the biggest letdown I think, and the dirty towel.

Nothing The room was dirty No air conditioning The shower drain was not working, therefore water was welling up There was no wardrobe to hang/store clothes The room was small with no space to move freely and put one’s bag The member of staff who attended us first was rude but later there was a friendly lady There was only one socket outlet at the foot of the bed There was one uncomfortable pillow on each bed

The location is amazing, right outside is a bus stop which really comes in handy, Victoria Station is just a 10 minute walk away. The staff were really nice, although it did take over a day to change rooms when our shower wasn’t working. Nice area with restaurants, pubs and some shops. Small rooms, on the upper floors the floor is very uneven and you can hurt yourself. It was also very hot in the rooms with no AC or a fan. The lift wasn’t working and there was no mention of this prior to checking in. The shower in our room wasn’t working properly, the water was barely dripping, when we told the staff, they checked, but said nothing could be done that day and we had to wait another day to change rooms. The one we got was right on the street so we couldn’t keep the window open to ventilate the room, and there was no fan in the room either so we had a really uncomfortable night in a stuffy room.
