Staff were friendly with exceptional customer service. They were very attentive and helpful in every way showing warm welcoming hospitality to us. The housekeeping were quite not up to standard and poor. Linen sheets despite changing have been found with blood stain and that was only after the 6th night as I complained about the cleanliness. I booked a 7th night stay and not once they changed my bath robe even till the very last night. Even found fingerprints on power sockets and dust all over the room, I had to use my own antiseptic wipe to wipe down on the furnitures with dust on it.

Convenient location near Thameslink Blackfriars station. Which incidently has a Costa with a terrific view of the Thames. Some people might find the rumbling of trains a bit disconcerting

Excellent location, over the beautiful bridge, is Shakespeare global (where we enjoyed a lot), and St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern all nearby. We also walked to Royal Ballet show( was amazing) with the bank side views ( about 25 minutes), and Covent garden. And was very happy to find Blackfriars train station right next the corner, so we can reach another city easily. The staff also very nice, Greenisha is very efficient and helpful, is the exactly a 5 start hotel staff you can expect. The room dinning service is also excellent: the hamburger and fries were quite good, and the staff was friendly. The room size is quite decent, much bigger than Hyde Park/Green park neighborhood.

I sometimes forget how lovely it is to stay in one of the high end chains. The facilities are unbeatable and my room was exceptional. Efficient, professional and attentive service seemed to be the norm here. Everyone was treated with great respect. It's a little more expensive than my usual budget but I treated myself and it felt like a treat. I would stay here all the time if I could afford it. It's not that expensive for London though. Unbeatable location for the City and St Pauls. This is how hotels should be run. Literally nothing.

Clean, in the most convenient place for my needs Poor in room refreshments. For the price of the room I would have expected at least a few biscuits eg shortbread and a few more small plastic pots of the cheap milk in found most hotels. Also better coffee options than cheap Nescafé instant sachets.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Staff were all very friendly but not over the top like at some other 5 star hotels. The room very spacious for the price and was pristine, not a speck of dust anywhere. It was also very quiet, could barely hear people chatting as they passed by the door. Air conditioning in the room was great, we almost forgot it was 35°c outside! Room service was delivered quickly and was delicious. Beds were super comfy as well. A very small detail, though an important one if this is classed as a 5 star hotel; the room lacked the range of small complementaries that most other hotels stock. In the bathroom they supplied one singular cotton pad! The lack of a coffee machine which should pretty much be the standard in a room at this price was slightly disappointing. We booked the lowest room tier, and it had an internal window looking on to the foyer - not that we minded! Just think this should be better advertised as other people may not enjoy it.
