Location is very good. The door staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast! Unorganised, other than the French waiter (I didn’t catch his name) were frankly useless, food was tasteless and cold.
-
The breakfast was mediocre given the quality of the hotel.

Nice Nice

Clean They took my tea makers without any notice or permission even they don’t keep a note for me I was searching for it for 2 days also the price is too much, number of water bottles per room is very small

The location It takes a long time for the front desk, concierge and in-room dining to answer. I have to call 2-3 times till they answer. Also, for a hotel in London, they have a very bad tea (inside the room and even for dine in)

The location is excellent and the hotel is elegant with good service. The staff were generally polite and the facilities were comfortable and clean. When checking out, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional 5% per night. The staff said it was a “municipality or tourism fee required by the government,” but when I looked at the invoice, it was actually listed as a “discretionary service charge.” This was never mentioned anywhere during my Booking.com reservation or at check-in. My stay was fully paid in advance through Booking.com, yet I was told that all guests, even those who prepaid, must pay this extra amount at checkout. I was also told this rule has been “implemented by the government since last year,” but after checking with official UK and Westminster sources, there is no such government or local tax in London. I visited another London hotel a few months ago, and they did not charge anything like this. It’s very disappointing and feels misleading for a five-star property to present an optional hotel fee as if it were a mandatory government tax. Guests deserve transparency about all costs before booking, not surprise charges at checkout.

Way too expensive!

Our luggage delivery was delayed by more than half an hour (close to an hour). When it finally arrived, one bag was missing and the bags we received had been opened. This raised serious concerns about the honesty and professionalism of the first staff member. We expect management to investigate this incident and take appropriate action to protect guests and their belongings.

Just location It was not clean and very expensive
-
The staff is the main reason, but also the convenience of its location.

We booked a suite and got the one of the suites that were not refurnished. Room looked old. The mayfair suites rooms were lovely and refurnished (we had family that booked that). Food at the hotel was delicious. I would recommend the mayfair rooms

Everything was perfect from Check-in to Check-out. I booked a Cozy room (it was room # 873) and it was very nice and well-organized. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and smiling all the time. Location of the hotel is very nice!
