Excellent hotel, very classy Unexpected fire alarms

Friendly and helpful staff nice room good breakfast lovely grounds next to the riverside good walks. Unfortunately one of the reasons we booked the hotel was they have an indoor pool that was supposed to be open on the day after we arrived but it was still closed and we didn't get to use it.

The location The air conditioner was so noisy at infrequent intervals through the night that it woke me up, to the point where I had to switch it off and open a window. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night, false alarms. Combined with the A/C I had really bad sleeps such that I had to return home early on my last day. Still no restaurant and bar. The bedroom and bathroom were so small cramped for 1 person let alone 2

Excellent location, facilities and grounds. Room was small, but functional. Breakfast was in a small room whilst renovations take place. We were asked to book a time slot on arrival. We turned up on time, then had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. There were only 2 staff working that we could see, so tables were sat empty and uncleared whilst we were waiting to be seated. Once seated, we again had to wait for service due to the shortage of staff. No plates or restocking on the self service area. There were two staff on reception happily chatting whilst we were queueing - perhaps they could've helped the situation by briefly assisting the dining staff, which were clearly struggling only a few feet away...

The location of the hotel was great. Very easy access to shops and restaurants and twickenham stadium .The surroundings were beautiful. Parts of the hotel were being refurbished during our stay including the pool .The lift in our building was out of order. The room was too small and matresses uncomfortable and there were not enough electrical sockets. And nit enough lighting in the bedroom .

Nothing really, the whole resort is in a dissary! The confusion with our room, there was no room for us! Then we got a smaller room with a small bed. The food is not up to standard it is actually bad. We got a better room with our second stay(room111) and the room stank of sewer!! The aircon needs a service.
