Ideally located c;lose to Hackney Central Station and within walking distance to our restaurant for the evening. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Bonus that 20% was offered on drinks and food purchased on the premises

I love the location, this is the second time I’ve stayed here and it’s quirky and very pleasant! N/A

The room was great and clean but I didn’t sleep at all because it was so hot, being three flights up at the top of the building. Inadequate cooling. A fan and then a strange and noisy unit which hardly cooled the room and probably made it more humid.

The hotel was booked due to its location to our rail travel and wedding reception and was perfect Nothing to report the hotel was as described and to our expectations

Great location, couple minutes walk to the overground station. Offered a discount on food and drink at the pub underneath for hotel guests. Staff were really pleasant. Room was small but comfortable enough for a 1 or 2 night stay. Not the hotels fault at all but the room was ROASTING due to the heatwave. They did give us bottles of water and a couple fans though. Wouldn't stop me staying there again but just something for other guests to consider depending on the time of year that you visit.

Save some time to savour the place. Nice pub downstairs, good seating outside. Missed the 20% reduction on food and drinks for guests due to travel... Proper air conditioning - quite hot in a London heat wave.

We've stayed here a couple of times now (at least). We've always had a good welcome. It's convenient for anywhere in Hackney / NW London. Comfortable, quiet, friendly. As a resident you get a decent discount on food and drink in the pub.

Very convenient base for neighbourhood. Good room, bed etc. Many options for breakfast nearby. 20% discount on food/beverages in associated pub.

This property is honestly my favourite one that I’ve paid for with Booking.com. I was worried at first about it being on top of a bar, however it was near the venue that I was going to for a concert (Oslo London) and it was the most affordable listing that I found when looking for accommodation for one night. When I arrived it was easy to get to with the help of Google Maps, and upon arriving I was attended to very quickly. Was given my room key and necessary instructions/directions/information about the establishment, and then I got to my room… and WOW! It was a great first impression. Very clean and put together and comfortable looking. There was also a fan already on as London was mid-heatwave, so I greatly appreciated that. There was also an ice cold water bottle waiting for me, and the bed had a thin sheet to it, with a duvet above the wardrobe in case I needed it. They truly thought about my comfort, and that was something else I appreciated. I felt very secure in my room, the shower was amazing, the bed was sooooooooooo comfortable, and I overall had an amazing experience. I’ll also note that my stay was also at the same time as the England semi-finals match, and whilst there were a lot of people in the bar beneath the hotel, I did not hear any noise coming from the bar whatsoever. My only tidbit is that the hallway light was not on/not working? And that hallway (to get to my room) was very dark and at that point I did feel a little unsafe just trying to get into my room. It didn’t help when around midnight there was floorboards creaking outside my room and I didn’t know if it was someone out there or just the sounds the establishment makes. (I was solo travelling and that was the only time I felt unsafe.)

Great location for our show at London Stadium. Staff were very friendly. Very comfy bed. Room was very hot as no air con. Fans provided but it was still hot. Room on the small side and blind on window did nothing to stop the morning light coming in.
