West Cromwell Hotel

They provided storage on the day of departure, which was good as I was flying in the late evening. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and well lit. The desk was rather cramped. If you are after a room and don't need a flat surface, then it is fine, but a little hard to work on. Still great value for money for the location of the hotel.

Location was great Unfortunately, my stay at West Cromwell Hotel was very disappointing. The room did not look like the pictures advertised, and there was visible mould in the bathroom, which I found very concerning and unhygienic. As a nurse working in healthcare, I am particularly aware of the potential health risks associated with mould and did not feel comfortable staying in these conditions. I kindly request a full refund due to the condition of the room and the health concerns it caused.

Easy to locate, spacious. Near great strip of pubs and shops. Close to train. Room next to reception carried in noise from the hallway which spooked me a couple of times but if you have warning of that it’s fine :)

Location Bedbugs. This has already been pointed out by reviewers in April and June, but they're still there.

Decent facilities for what it is, was clean & staff were professional & polite. Lots of towels soap shampoo & other necessary items which helped in the morning. Decent location too if you have stuff planned in the area A bit pricey for what it is but hey it’s summer & it’s in a great location plus booked last minute so who cares. Tv only had bbc 1 so could’ve done with a fire stick or even cable just for a few more channels but I had my laptop anyways. Needed a few more plugs in the room but that’s a minor detail

Great location, within walking to underground station and museums. We had a very comfortable stay and staff all very helpful. Bargain price too. Clean, comfortable and everything we needed, even a bath and a fan! Nothing not to like.

Room is acceptable for a solo traveller, everything is compacted and placed well where you have everything in different corner not on top of each other, there is window and bathroom is also good size. Entrance door space and separation to second door that takes you in the room is good touch and creates barrier, not to be feeling outside corridor movement. You can shorten the curtains surely, this is very easy and going to be a nice touch, as at the moment too close to bed. Shower head is too small and idle with low power water, imagine you introducing a hose with a handle or bigger shower head but also longer extending from the wall, experience will be so much better as actual cubicle is good size and would allow this. With these two minor adjustments you can make this room so much better.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, Fábio went above and beyond, the location which could be underrated is very close to one of the main subway lines, it's easy to get everywhere from the hotel. The room was quiet and the bathroom very clean. A few nitpicks, could have used a handle for going in and out of the shower, an extra socket in the room and a more comfortable chair.

Location was good. Easily reachable by bus and underground train. Toilet was not clean and had sewer smell.

Lovely location. Friendly staff. Very small room and not much of ventilation.. Hotel has a small lift though The shower was stagnating. Overall it's ok for a short stay
