The Borough offers modern accommodations next door to Borough Tube Station, and a 5-minute walk from London Bridge Rail Station. Tower Bridge is a 10-minute walk away. A 24-hour reception and express check-in/check-out are also available. It has 21 modern, well furnished rooms, with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms have an en suite shower room. Basic rooms have a washbasin in the room and a shared bathroom. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. Location, close to Borough Station is very convenient, the check in process on the mobile is useful, but I think for the less tech savvy generation, I think they would struggle. Overall the bed was comfy. There are no staff present to speak with and address concerns, the room was incredibly hot and noisy throughout. The ear plugs on the bedside table was an early warning but did not solve the problem. The bathrooms, especially the shower were incredibly dirty and showed no signs that they had been cleaned. The water from the shower did not drain to the point the basin was overflowing. The room was on the 3rd floor up some incredibly steep steps. Older, disabled people with bags would be at a huge dissadvantage. Glad I was only staying a short period, any longer would have been torture.

Room was clean and tidy. The bed was a little soft for me, And the air ducting outside the window was loud though out the night.

Great location, comfortable bed. They have no AC, but they do have a fan but didnt help pit in the peak July heat. The lock on our door was out of battery so didnt work upon check in.

It was clean and well decorated. Comfortable bed. Good shower room . Peaceful. Good nights sleep. No lift. Tv didn’t work although staff member tried to help and did offer us a change of room no Aircon and it was very hot in room with just a small fan. No fridge in room

bed was comfortable. We were disappointed to find no lift to top floor room; steep staircase too narrow to safely carry a large suitcase; the room’s angled side wall did not allow easy access to the bed for this tall person; the one fan on side wall was inadequate to cool the hottest top floor room during the heat wave; and in the bathroom a horizontal metal bar joining show screen to wall was set at 6 feet —dangerously low for many people.

Great location right next to borough underground. A fan was already running in the room on my arrival, helping it to be relatively cool. Was still on the warm side, but no more so than my own home during the heatwave we've had

Good location, nice room, very clean, small fridge in room, large shower. It was hot but that wasn’t anyone’s fault

Literally nothing I walked into my room (after having a horrible time with the door entry system). It was like a bedsit. Dirty. Horrible. Nothing at all like the photos on booking.com. I didn't even feel safe, let alone comfortable. I immediately left and booked somewhere else to stay.
