The location was perfect as you were not exactly in town but you were less than 5 minutes to the tube, 10mins to the train station if you wanted to get into central londonium town. Surrounding bars, cafes and restaurants ticked the boxes. We were on the 14th floor so it was extremely peaceful and didn't have far to travel yo the rooftop infinity pool which is well worth the try even just for the panoramic view. Would love to know where they purchase their duvets from as the one in our room was awesome. All in all a fantastic 1 night stay, would happily stay there again. The price is my only grumble, that's it.

The pool Big room Good options for food and drinks The staff on the front desk were immediately defensive; I was asked to provide ID and before I had a chance to reply, the staff member said with a stony face that without I wouldn’t be able to check-in; in a five star hotel, you’d expect staff to be friendly and welcoming and amenable

Great location for exploring Battersea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and swimming pool were added bonuses for our stay. Whilst the hotel is fun and edgy, the room didn’t ultimately feel different to other nice hotels and so it didn’t feel worth the price. Despite also saying our stay was part of a wedding gift, there wasn’t much said at check in or in our room to make it feel a special stay either. Also, we were told multiple times in the lead up to our stay that children were only allowed in the pool from 6am until 12pm. When we went there at 5pm, a child was using it pretty much unsupervised and climbing over the wall between the hot tub part and the swimming pool, with no staff member doing anything to change this.

Lovely rooms and breakfast great location. Quite expensive but good for a treat It wasn’t clear at booking the children aren’t allowed in the pool throughout the afternoon/evening

Unfortunately, what was meant to be a special birthday stay turned into a very disappointing experience. I specifically chose art’otel Battersea Power Station out of the many hotels available in London because of the rooftop pool. I was celebrating my birthday with a friend who had travelled all the way from Belfast, so I had put some thought into choosing a hotel that would make the occasion feel special. I was therefore extremely disappointed to arrive and discover that the rooftop pool was out of service for hotel guests on the day of our stay. As the pool was one of the main reasons I booked this particular hotel, this was a significant disappointment. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled by reception. When I politely approached a member of staff to ask about the pool, I was asked to wait while he went to speak to someone behind reception, who I understood to be the manager. Rather than coming over to speak to me directly, I was left waiting for at least 15 minutes, while the manager appeared to be looking at a computer. Eventually, I was told that I had supposedly been informed about the pool closure via a message sent through the Booking.com app. There had been no phone call and no proper email drawing my attention to such an important change to the facilities I had booked the hotel for. I had changed my phone since making the reservation and no longer had the Booking.com app installed, so I had never seen this message. Regardless of where a message may have been sent, I would have expected a hotel of this standard to make a genuine effort to contact guests when one of its key facilities was going to be unavailable — particularly a facility that features so prominently in the hotel's offering. However, the biggest disappointment was the complete lack of empathy or customer service. There was no meaningful apology, no attempt to understand why I was disappointed and no effort to make the situation better.

The property was clean and great location. Staff were stand offish and when booking breakfast it’s deceiving about what you can actually have.
