Everything was fine.

Great location, great value for money, nice staff, loved the free breakfast, was very clean. No AC- they had a ceiling fan and the window opened, but if it had been another day of high heat it would have been unbearable to stay there. The ceiling fan didnt do much but push the hot air around the room.

This was a fabulous place to stay for my trip to London. It was comfortable and clean and the perfect location. My sister and I shared a room which was perfect. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The only minor thing I would change is the bread at breakfast. I like a granary bread or sour dough for toast.

Lovely location with the pub. Watched City beat Liv 4-0. ;) Great ambiance and great services. The free drink and breakfast are a warm touch to the whole experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was an excellent location, right across from Battersea Power Station which had many restaurants and access to the tube. The rooms were very clean and while compact, had everything. We stayed 2 x on our recent vacation. First room we had was "Animals" and the second "Clouds". The Animals was a much better layout and extremely quiet despite being on a busy street. The Clouds was a little noisier and not as good a layout/size. The breakfast was great and the pub very quaint. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Layout of the clouds room was a little squishy.

The staff is amazing, food is great and room was very clean. Overall has a nice friendly vibe about it. The location is also fantastic right across the street from Battersea northern line underground. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area, and the beautiful Battersea Park on the River Thames is 10 minutes walk away. My only complaint is that in my room (Moon), the window's sound insulation is pretty bad, so being on the main road you'll need earplugs if you're a light sleeper. There's constant traffic even during the night. If that can be fixed, I've got no further comments :)

Fantastic South London location. Ideal for transport links and Battersea Power Station. Great breakfast. Not much room in bedroom. Great for a short stay. Not much room for clothes/luggage.

What a great find! A lovely, proper pub with nice rooms. We received a friendly welcome and a complimentary glass of wine on arrival. Our room was a good size by London standards, clean & comfortable. The bar downstairs is lively & welcoming. There is no noise once you're at the back of the building where the rooms are located. The location is excellent - across the road from the tube station & next to the Battersea Power Station development. The room cost is so reasonable and well below the average for London. We hope to be back again. No complaints.

In short, I liked everything. But best was probably staff, super nice and helpful. Other than that, room was small but clean, as were the rest of the facilities. Hotel is part of a pub so it was easy to get a drink or something to eat and it is right across the street from the Battersea Power Station Underground station providing good connectivity to London Waterloo and other parts of London. The only negative was that my room's window didn't seem to provide an adequate level of noise protection so there was a significant amount of outside/traffic noise. It didn't bother me too much but it might some people. I'm not sure if other rooms are less noisy.

The location is excellent, right across the road from Battersea Power Station tube and a 10-minute walk from the US embassy, so very convenient for anyone needing to visit the embassy. Excellent public transport on the doorstep. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was generous but not very good (coffee was awful), and the one dinner I had there was the same. Would not personally recommend having dinner there. It's on a very busy road and there's no double glazing so the traffic noise was pretty bad, though hard to avoid that given the location. There are a few flights of narrow stairs up to the rooms so anyone with a large suitcase might want to think twice.

The location was good (close to train station and about a 45 minute walk to the London Eye) There was no air conditioning and the window barely opened making sleep next to impossible during a hot summer stay. Even though the temperature outside was only in the 20’s the temperature inside was unbearable. The window had a lock that made it impossible to open more than a few centimetres. The “king” bed was barely a double. Room was extremely small (had to climb over our suitcase to get out of bed). I was reluctant to write this review because I generally live by the adage “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything” but I wish I had read an honest review like this before we booked. Staff were friendly but I wish the comfort of guests was taken more seriously but perhaps adding window AC units.

The location across from Battersea was great and the fact that the rooms are above a pub is really unique! Everything about both the pub and hotel was welcoming. Staff was so personable and the included breakfast was delicious! The rooms were clean and decorated well and great for our one night stay, but a little small for longer stays.

Excelleny Everything was great

The breakfast was lovely - tasty, and just what I needed. The location couldn't have been better for my needs - very close to my business appointments. It's reasonably close to Victoria Coach station for onward travel. It's also directly opposite the Battersea underground station. I live in the middle east and am used to warmer temperatures. The room was set at 18 degrees, so I did neet to put the heater on to warm up a bit. The room was lovely for one. It would have been comfortable, but compact, for two people.

This was a great find, in an ideal location for the activity we had planned. The room was clean and well stocked, and the staff were all very friendly.

The hotel room was surprisingly small, but it had everything we needed, and it was quiet and comfortable. The location is great - it offers very easy access to the city center via the underground or bus. There is a bar downstairs where you can also have dinner.
