The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very basic, consisting mainly of store-bought bread and instant coffee. The room became very hot on warm days. The fan was not effective, especially for the person sleeping on the top bunk. If you positioned the fan to cool the bed, there was barely any space left to move around the room.

UNSAFE AREA! I witnessed a woman getting attacked by two men on the street corner by the hostel. It seemed like a completely malicious attack and happened before 11pm. It was a horrifying experience especially as a solo female traveler. The staff were very kind and really helpful, and this review is not a reflection on them at all as they really helped calm me down after the fact. The hostel itself is fine, it is what you expect for the price, but I really would not recommend staying there.

# Location of the hostel - close to tube station, supermarkets, and restaurants # Friendly staff # Well-equipped kitchen # Clean communal area # Free breakfast # Individual storage cupboard and safe in the room (bring your lock!) # Mattress could be better (though for 1 night or 2 it was fine) # The bed area could be cleaned better (found dust and some hair) # Would be very helpful if shower gel is provided in the bathroom. # The ventilator in the bathroom is either weak or not working, the moist stayed longer.

Location, staff are nice. Tiny cold room. No enough heating. It is very humid and no fresh air. Not liked the shower in side the room. Not liked the decoration.

Wanted to love this, but It was an extremely hot visit to London. They were experiencing quite a heat wave. This made our room very, very warm, and we had little ability to adjust.

Perfect location in Kensington. I was so happy to come back there after doing touristy things or shopping because it was so easy. I also love that it’s open to people over 45, which some hostels are not. Only one thing, and that is I would prefer to have a curtain I can draw across the bunk. I’d also like to be able to reserve a bottom bunk, but as that wasn’t a problem for me this trip, it’s not exactly a demerit.

The location is pretty much perfect. Located right next to a grocery store, tons of other shops and restaurants and a metro station that can easy connect you to the rest of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a kitchen and laundry services on site was very nice and the overall vibe of this hostel was very cosy and comfortable The laundry is coin only unfortunately

Room clean, bed comfortable, excellent water pressure in shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location perfect-located on a side street that was residential, quiet and felt safe. Grocery store on corner and very short walk to Earls Court Station. I highly recommend. Reception doesn’t open until 7:30, so we were unable to store our bags for the day as we had an early train.

I am so grateful for the staff here! They were super kind and even printed out my Flixbus ticket for me when my phone wouldn't charge. The lady at the front desk recommended me a place to get my phone fixed, and I went to the recommended place and they saved my phone! I stayed in the highest bunk if the all female dorm room, and the bunk bed was sturdy and the arrangement of the beds gave a feeling of privacy. The beds had a charger and a light by each bed. There was lots of storage space and I was able to fit my entire big backpack inside the locker. There was free breakfast which included a nice variety of things, including fresh plums! The kitchen was cozy and spacious and had a nice big window. I also really liked the cozy "egg" shaped swinging chairs on the patio garden place. They also kindly let me store my luggage before I left for my overnight Flixbus. The staff were very kind and were always checking up to make sure I was doing well. Excellent location, too! It is a ten minute walk to a Tesco Superstore, and close to the Earl's court underground station. I also liked how the female dorm had its own bathroom. Excellent value! I can't really think of anything.

The staff were very nice; great location within 5 minutes walk from the tube, plenty of dining options within walking distance, and a Sainsburys on the corner; small same sex rooms available; indoor and outdoor lounge areas. Laundry and towels available for a fee. Felt very safe. Not really a fault of the hostel, more something to keep in mind: radiator was running the entire time, with no option to turn it down in the room (I did not bring this up to staff, so there may be a way to do it from their end). As someone who prefers a cold room to sleep, it was slightly uncomfortable. Our room did have a window to open for airflow, but my roommates didn't appreciate the November chill.

Near bus stop and tube station. No lift.

The best hostel in London so far

Quiet, clean and well located hostel with helpful staff. I arrived late in the evening and grateful to receive a warm welcome after a long journey. We had the double room with a private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Some tea and coffee making facility in the room.

Staff were very friendly, place was kept really clean, bathroom and other parts of the room were also modern and comfortable.
