The hotel has lovely decorative features and is in a good location. The bed was comfy. I was here with two friends (a couple) so we had booked separately. They were on the second floor. I was on the lower ground floor. The location of my room was right beside the kitchen. The room had a frosted window and when I looked out of it, the view was of the actual kitchen. I had a feeling I would probably be woken early by the kitchen staff preparing breakfast. Breakfast is scheduled from 7.30am so I asked the receptionist if I could move rooms but she said the hotel was fully booked. I asked if all the rooms were the same nightly rate and she said yes. The receptionist was very apologetic and kind, so I have no issues with her service. I was woken at 7am hearing pots and pans being used. I could see the kitchen staff through the frosted glass so I pulled the curtains across but it was still loud and I didn't get back to sleep. I just think if you are going to place someone in a room beside the hotel kitchen, maybe reduce the rate of that room because its not fair that I paid the same rate as my friends who were on the second floor, had a window that looked out onto the garden and they weren't disturbed by any noise whatsoever. Being in a room by myself on the lower ground floor, as a woman, was quite a weird and lonely experience. It felt like I was consigned to the basement and I didn't feel comfortable.

Location was great - close to many train stations. Shops and restaurants are all close by. Hotel was very nice - a small boutique hotel which suited us. The breakfast is the only minor criticism - very basic. A sandwich press would be good and have a range of deli items for a toastie or some cut up fruit.

Was worried being a 3* in London that it was going to be pokey and neither comfortable or clean as we had experienced that on a previous occasion. This was surprisingly clean, comfortable and spacious and included breakfast. So easy to get to. Will recommend it! Nothing

Not very good To small room

Nice looking, safe environment, good location. We were at the 2nd floor, property has stairs and elevator so it was comfortable with our suitcases. The room, although it was small, we had enough space for our luggage and things, the bed was great size for two people. Bathroom was fine, enough space to get ready, shower didn’t have the closing door, it has curtain, so the only problem is the water that’s running out when you’re showering. The staff was really nice, we asked for extra towels and a blanket and they were really helpful. About the location, it was good, you have 3 minute walk to bus stop and three short bus stops to underground station so it was really easy to travel to central London, I recommend this hotel for short visit. Breakfast. It was fine, but not much of an options. It’s okay for the short stay, but you really can’t get full.
