Excellent services, amazing breakfast and clean rooms

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. When we complained about the allocated room we were changed immediately. The original room allocated on the first floor had a bank of air conditioning units outside which were constantly noisy. We asked to be moved and were given a room on the third floor which moved us away from the aircon units but the room was in need of refurbishment as the blinds were broken or missing and the curtains did not fully cover the windows. The shower had a broken tile.

One of the best breakfasts ever. Fresh ingredients and great range. Bed up stairs in mezzanine- going up and down stairs during night to toilet we worried about safety

It is a very noisy hotel, you can here you next door neighboir walk around in the room, or you can hear the train pass by every 2 minutes untill 0:00

Room was smaller than I expected for a superior double

It was quirky, and comfortable! Was expensive if you didn’t use all the facilities like the sauna and stuff, like just for a room it was pricey!

Best hotel we’ve stayed in to date. Fantastically eclectic and homely design.

Very interesting, eclectic place. Good location near Limestone and Canary Wharf uber boat. Breakfast buffet was great! Enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel is amazing and unique, it has been well thought out and to have a wellness centre also in the minimum space downstairs is a massive addition. I only wish we could have used it, but limited time. Breakfast was wonderful with a good variety and choice. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Nothing

The art and artefacts!! The choice at breakfast. Comfortable rooms each with their own style. Ease of getting into town via 15 bus or DLR. Tea and coffee at breakfast not great.

Fantastic, original, and incredibly well-maintained hotel. Unique and poetic. Wonderful breakfast and the owner's kindness. A place with a lot of personality, starting with the historic building. We're very happy with our choice! All good

Beautiful hotel within a 15 minute walk to the train station! The rooms are fun - our party of four checked into the Homer, and Socrates. The Socrates room had the bed at floor level and required a bit of bending to get situated. If you book this hotel you'll be playing a bit of a room lottery - so you have to be OK , and physically flexible enough, to sleep on a bed placed on the floor! Most of the beds are not on the floor though - so leave a note when booking if this would be a deal breaker. Hotel and staff are all lovely - the location is a little bit rougher than central London. We went exploring on Day 1 in the direction the Limehouse Cut waterfront area and bumper into a naked man talking to himself - fouling piled up near him. Would recommend taking the bus or train into the city directly.

Lovely hotel, interesting decor and very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, comfortable room, 8 mins walk to Limehouse DLR station, close to Limehouse basin. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nothing at all. Churlish to say the room was a bit small, but they all are in London.
