Most guest rooms have original period features, including high ceilings and Georgian windows. Reception was fine. Room met my expectations. Basic tea and coffee facilities and TV, and loo with shower. Very good for the price. Quite convenient and quiet. Providing breakfast would have been nice, but I guess not feasible. A mug rather than cup would have been nice, and a bath rather than a shower but I guess there was not room.

The location. The price. The room was nice and quiet. Easy check in. Ensuite bathroom. Tea and coffee. The bed was damaged. The mattress felt old and worn. No lock on the window - it was a high up room but I would still like the choice to lock it or not. The window had no opening restriction for a high up window. Only one pillow supplied. The wall looked mouldy in the corner next to the bed-head.

Nothing Dirty…like filthy, moldy, broken flashing lights out of a horror movie, holes in walls, extremely lazy paint jobs (paint over the curtains, hairdryer, no smoking signs)…most importantly the manager was an absolute joke, so unprofessional and unpleasant (would post more pics as proof of if I could, the rooms do not look like the ones online)

Good location to train station and friends locally we visited. Beds and bedding were lacking. No aircon made it difficult to sleep through. Basic accommodation appropriately priced for what it is.

Location was easy to access Victoria Station. Bathroom was mouldy, and smelt really bad. Toilet roll had a thumb indent to be previously used. Extractor fan in bathroom broken. Bedding was not so clean with black dots all over. You had to lock the door by key using the inside otherwise it was open so was a fire risk. TV was too high from the bed and room was too small.

Price was good value. Location was spot on! Good old fashioned Victorian staircases. Good workout for the calves.
