It doesn’t disappoint. Very calm. Comfortable. Great cocktails. Breakfast is pretty pricey.

Location Rooms were nondescript for a “luxury “ hotel

Lovely building, nice bar and restaurant. Helpful and welcoming staff. Good location on south bank. Room was extremely bland and underwhelming given price/brand. Door card didn’t work so got stranded in building between internal security doors. In fairness staff were very helpful recoding door key.

The Lalit has grace, charm and an old world elegance intertwined with character. The building was an old grammar school now converted into a five star property where no one room is alike. Distinct shape of each guest rooms (we stayed in 3 different ones) are moulded into the user experience with unique layout. Comfort is not compromised the senior rooms and the suites come with extra large bed. Cherry on top is the food, probably the best Indian food I have had in London (even better than Dishoom) must try the truffle naan. London has a fantastic match of the old world and contemporary, and the Lalit has very well captured this essence. The suite rooms a must try. Staff members that went above and beyond Muskan who showed us the places and very kind with time. Anu look after our breakfast knowing what we wanted before we ordered. Shivali is a star managing the special lunch fare at Baluchi. And, Kiara made sure we received everything we asked for. We are thankful to them very much. Mustafa the F&B manager is excellent as well. Thank you, The Lalit, and see you soon. For a five star the checkin welcome and hospitality is an important aspect, tho the management addressed this well and hope it continues.

Location that’s all Facilities were are broken staff didn’t care. “Sorry” and that was it. Terrible bed, tiny and rock hard. Thin pillows. Shocking customer service genially stay away.

The location was the only positive aspect of my stay. The room had an extremely small window A framed window for natural light to come in - and zero options to open the heavy curtains that covered it, and layers of dust beneath the bed. The shower door did not close properly, causing water to leak across the bathroom floor whenever I showered. I requested fresh towels and maintenance assistance; replacement towels were left on a chair, while the wet towels were not collected. And maintenance said they tightened the door - but it was the same. The restaurant and terrace menus offered very little choice. There was also nowhere suitable to work with access to a power socket. I asked about a late checkout when I arrived but was told to ask again on the morning of departure. The television was extremely dated, offered limited viewing options, and had a remote control that barely worked.

Beautiful building, well-appointed, with an excellent restaurant. Room wasn’t huge, but high ceilings made it feel large. Bed was comfortable. Aircon (needed as we were there in a heatwave) was good. Layout was a bit odd in the room. Pillows were too soft. Common areas (bar, lounge) were too warm and seating wasn’t very comfortable.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. So attentive and business minded. We felt very welcome. The hotel is in a good location with lots of dining spots and a short walk to Tower Bridge. The bed is very comfortable. It is also a very quiet area and we slept great. There was some mould and a bad odour from the drains in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was disappointing and very small. It would have been nice to log into streaming services from the tv and not have to watch terrestrial television.

Lovely property, staff were great really felt welcome and were very atentive. Thought the complamentry glass bottled of coke etc in fridge were a nice touch. I was using the tube, so little walk to London Bridge station but flat and under 10 minuites.

It was a beautiful building with very chic decor. The great hall was stunning with its high ceilings, the colours of dark blue against the dark wood was stunning. Nothing - I liked it all!
