The Rathbone Hotel, Fitzrovia

The room was immaculate with a brand new bathroom. I couldn’t fault it. Nice pillows and slept well. The staff were so accommodating as we were travelling from Yorkshire for a midday event so they checked us in super early allowing us to get to our room and freshen up at 10:30 - I’ll definitely visit again as it was in a lovely area I’d never visited before. Nothing

Convenient location. Very nice hotel. Excellent helpful and friendly staff. We have stayed here many times over the years They should have put air conditioning in the bedroom of the suite not just in the lounge when they refurbished. Luckily we were given a fan which really helped. We stayed during one of the heatwaves

Room was very nice and spacious with classy furnishings. Expected amenities were present. Bed was quite comfortable, allowing good rest. Very good location in the Fitzrovia area, lots of dining, coffee shops and pubs nearby. Less than 10 minute walk to the Goodge St. and Tottenham Court Road stations. Pleasant arrival at the front desk. Luggage storage available for my early arrival. Quaint and relaxing lobby waiting area near the front desk. Would be happy to consider staying at The Rathbone Fitzrovia again but hope it would be in better working order given the room rate charge. Need for maintenance (lift not working properly: makes stops on unrequested floors, out of order for a long period in one day requiring all guests to use stairs). The water was out for a few hours on another occasion and internet service was regularly unstable throughout my four night stay. Shower with weak water pressure but not a major problem.

It was a great location and very clean The room was made up exactly as was expected and was well appointed. The staff were very helpful and kind and accommodated us checking in slightly earlier than expected. The pub outside could be a little loud, but we used white noise to help. As expected in central London.

It’s a lovely hotel, and very well-kept. The room felt recently renovated, with a luxurious bathroom and comfortable living space. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. The elevator is old and probably needs to be replaced.

Location, comfortable bed, good breakfast Poor WiFi, and they have hard water, so it required a lot more time in the shower to rinse off soap & shampoo - they should install a water softener system so guests can take shorter showers and use less water!

Good atmosphere, beautiful room, comfortable bed en bathroom

Spotlessly clean, staff very friendly. Even after free upgrade, rooms very basic, not worth the money we paid. Location was what we needed and had to pay the price.

Great location and fantastic and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room, spacious. Liked having the table and sitting chair to work on. Plug sockets next to the bed a bonus. Unsure if it was just our room, but it felt like the air conditioning unit wasn't cool enough. The bathroom heated up significantly (it is a 3 month heatwave in the UK!) and the bedroom was cooler, but it was still quite wamr overnight despite putting the aircon on what we thought was the coolest setting. Just a preference for us, but there was a motion detector light in the bedroom outside the bathroom, but it would turn on in the night when we turned over in bed (it was facing the bed) No big deal as we put a bag infront of it.
