Beachrunners Inn

Save yourself the trouble of researching accommodations and lodging in Long Beach and just stay here! Location is perfect. Juice/acai bowl/smoothie place next door is open until 8 pm. Liquor store a block away will have whatever you forgot. Pat makes coffee in the morning but the cafe on the corner has the standard coffee drinks for your morning caffeine needs. 4th street is a few minutes walk up the street. The beach, art museum (and Claire’s) is a few minutes walk in the opposite direction. Walk a few blocks down Broadway and you find a wine bar and some cute restaurants. The neighborhood is adorable and I loved wandering about and admiring the lovely gardens. But more importantly, support a wonderful small business and keep your hard earned dollars in the community you’re visiting. Pat is the sweetest and will go above and beyond to make your stay special. This will be my go to spot when I’m in the LBC!

The Innkeeper was very kind and hospitable. My room was clean and comfortable. Great location for visiting friends nearby. Shops and restaurants were easy to get to. Very walkable including an easy walk to Bluff Park. There was a parking space available but it was in the alley which was sketchy. I had to walk my luggage through the alley around the corner to the front to enter. There was no elevator. The innkeeper did carry my heavy suitcase upstairs for me which I was grateful for. My room was on the street upstairs, I could hear traffic and people walking by until late. I did notice the day after that there were earplugs and a sleeping mask available.

This was a great place to stay: quaint, well-kept, and inviting. Far better than staying at a hotel. It was close to the beach, coffee, and great activities. I would recommend the place and will stay here again when in town!

Parking

We loved the whole vibe which was casual, comfortable, beautifully maintained and just felt like a traditional inn. The location was just what we were looking for, so walkable and close to the beach. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Our hostess was very nice, and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious also Lots of light through the windows at night, hard to sleep if you’re used to complete darkness

Breakfast freshly made every morning. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants made our stay very nice. Had a great experience overall!

The TV. Couldn't figure out how to change the language back to english.

Bedding was to soft

We loved the authentic old school Long Beach feel of the neighborhood. The house was beautiful, and the owners were amazing hosts.

The staff and setting was absolutely incredible. Id make a trip back to Long Beach solely to stay at Beachrunner. Truly one of the most pleasant, welcoming experiences I've had in a great many years. I might add too that I was NOT expecting the very classical style of BnB that this is but I was beyond pleased once I came to terms with things. 11/10 No AC makes it hot all the time and can make sleeping difficult.

Excellent bed and breakfast! Beautiful house in a great location by Bixby Park. Host was very nice and accommodating and food was good! Would definitely stay again!

Quaint family run B&B. Convenient for Long Beach and close to restaurants.

It was very well kept and in a quiet location. We walked to the pizza place across the street. Miss Pat was very pleasant and hospitable and made a delicious breakfast with many choices every morning. I would absolutely recommend this place. The shower head-
