Cabana Inn & Suites

This place is a dump. The pics on the internet are very misleading. We got to our room and right away noticed our room wasn’t cleaned. Hair in all of the beds, broken tile floors, and just a complete mess. As soon as we could we booked a hotel room at the staybridge hotel and what a difference in cleanliness. We were just so relieved to not feel like cockroaches were going to be crawling all over us in our sleep!

Pictures are deceiving not clean and lots of dust

The property is in the ghetto surrounded by homelessness and people n drugs. The establishment is run by a family not a company, who have let the place go to shambles. People smoke throughout the property the rooms are old and in desperate need of repair. I was sold based on the Expedia pictures alone. But once I got to the property, I immediately demanded a full refund. Simply look at my picture and judge for yourself. This hotel is disgusting.

I have trouble sleeping. I usually get up around 9ish. By 5 am. the noise started. You hear some vacuum noise. Not sure if it's coming from next door or on the other side of the fence. Then you hear people yelling. Their were crumbs on the sheets. I had to brush them off. I left the room about 10 am. I came back late to the same dirty room. No room service. I will never book this hotel again.

The place is kind of old but for the most part is clean. The area feels safe, the ice machine works. The only thing I didn't like was the guy at the front desk because he was not helpful or nice plus when I left he refused to give me a receipt.

Overall, the property was good and we had a pleasant stay. One thing I learned is that booking directly through the hotel's website would have resulted in a better rate. By booking through Expedia, I ended up paying over $100 more due to commissions and third-party fees. I would consider booking directly with the property next time.

Clean rooms, lot's of parking, and quite.

Updated rooms, but fleas and flies bothered me all night. Walls were paper-thin. Heard guy in next room snoring. Also heard what sounded like gun shots at 3am

The property is located in a bad part of town, and I don't know why other people that gave reviews say it was in a good area! I've lived in Long Beach, California for over 48 years, and this motel is on PCH, and not close to the beach at all! It's in the old ,'Red light' district, with many homeless people around this area, and the rooms were 'ok', but the security was non existent in the parking area. It's a cheap place to stay, and has a microwave and fridge to use in the room, and shampoo etc also, but I won't stay here again, if I have a better choice to stay someplace else. Th area is NOT a good area.

It was a roof over our heads. The beds are box springs so horrible on my back. The place is dirty, there were holes in the sheet. The ac is pushed to the side of one bed, so you freeze in one bed, and roast on the other. There was no one available at 9 am in the morning so we had to drop our keys off. Will never go here again!

The room was clean, I would recommend it for going to sleep and rest up after an all day conference in Long Beach. Stayed two nights and heard an explosion like sound two nights in a row. Not sure what that was but good for the price and distance convenience.
