Room is clean

The whole area smelled like dog poop. The room was just bare bones and that was fine but definitely not anything fancy or nice. The pictures and description had this lounge that we were supposed to have access to with snacks and drinks and stuff but then that ended up only being available if you paid an extra $20 a day. They claimed that it was disclosed in the listing but then they use all the photos from the lounge to advertise as if it was included and their paper they hand you also says it’s included for all guests but then it’s only if you paid. That felt like a real bait and switch and made me instantly not like this stay. I feel like the owners are pretty sketchy.

Poor communication shared with them that the hotel was booked by error and unwilling to refund the money back. I will absolutely not recommend

We had a restful night! Facility was clean
-
No elevator and the desk clerk was not exactly prompt in offering help with the luggage. The promised hot breakfast was not worth the extra cost. Room was ok. Parking was at a neighborhood hotel. Adequate for the price.

Great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was in a convenient location. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

This is a nice, clean hotel. The staff was very pleasant and always friendly, the property appears well maintained. The rooms are on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a one night stay. Two minor criticisms: the towels are small and thin, and I personally didn’t care for the scent of the shower products. One major complaint: I paid the $25 to the front desk to park at the Courtyard by Marriott parking structure, but when I got there I found no place to park except in the no parking areas along the walls of the structure (which is where a lot of other cars ended up). Would be nice if they had a system where both hotels could interface with each other to make sure they’re not overselling the parking spaces (my car was fine the next morning but I was worried all night it would be towed along with all the others parked along the walls of the structure). Other than that, I have nothing but praise for this place!

After a long day of travel, this hotel almost felt like home. The room was clean, comfortable, had everything you need and the bed was cozy. I will stay again and again.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been a shuttle to and from the parking ( which is $25 cash and off site at the courtyard a block away. ) The hotel is very conveniently located but it is in a residential block that at night on the walk from the parking garage is not very well lit. Walking with my husband I felt safe but would have been weary if I was alone or just a group of girls. So a shuttle from the parking would have made me feel better and would have made unloading luggage and getting it to our room much easier. Being there is no designated luggage unload spot. But we just turned the hazard lights on and unloaded at the door. The parking is first come first serve EVEN if you pay extra for parking in the garage. We didn't have trouble getting a spot except for the last time we went to park for the night, we had to wait a while for someone to leave the garage for us to get a spot. We thought buying a parking pass would guarantee a spot but that isn't the case .This was a misunderstanding on our behalf. The ladies at the front desk told us multiple times it was first come, we just didn't realize it was this way even with the extra pass. All in all it was clean and great for the one night we were there.

The hotel has a lovely architecture and is located in the heart of Long Beach. You are a walking distance from the beach, the convention center, 20 min walking distance to t he aquarium of the pacific, shopping center and shoreline marina. The receptionist is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are modern, very clean, cozy, relaxing and very peaceful. I really had a good rest after a long day. I highly recommend it . Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Parking is off-site and requires full payment in CASH prior to receiving the key card. Make sure to get key card prior to parking as garage does not register an exit without the key card being used to enter. The two 30 minute parking spaces in front of the hotel were taken so check in was rather inconvenient. No elevator if that's a deal breaker.(Only three floors as far as I could tell) Overall it was a pretty lovely stay. Room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Will stay here again if travelling light.

But only thing it needed parking. It’s hard to find parking near by.
-
Parkin is an issue as there’s no dedicated parking at the front of the hotel, not even to check in, un-load or load baggage. There’s a $30 parking fee at an assigned parking structure about 10 minutes walking distance. Other than that, the Hotel is nice!
