The Resort at Longboat Key Club

The staff was very helpful and friendly from the time we checked in until the time they offered us a late checkout. The restaurant menu was diverse and delicious. The pool area was kept very clean with lots of help. The drinks at the pool were served quickly and often . Only steps to the beach and Gulf made for a beautiful beach vacation !

Every person on staff that we dealt with was very courteous, very friendly, very welcoming and helpful.

The beach was majestic and the lodging were delightful

This is a wonderful resort, right on a wonderful beach and spacious rooms (we had a suite). However, we also felt that the various up charges were uncalled for. For example, we were charged $35 or so per day for the use of 2. beach chairs and an umbrella. Given the cost of the room, one would have thought that the use of these would be complimentary.

Was a beautifully maintained resort. Great access to beach and pool great poolside service. Stayed in a suite with a lagoon view and sofa bed. The kitchenette and washer /dryer was super useful. Had to ask for certain items to be replenished (water bottles/toilet roll/coffee) but staff were super responsive and helpful.

Room was very clean but somewhat small. The building was outdated. For the price I expected robes and a magnifying mirror to be provided. I was also disappointed that for the price there was very little bathroom storage , counter space , and only a single sink.

The property is extremely well laid out to make getting to the pool, beach and restaurants easy even if you are not in the main building. Dean at the front is an absolute superstar. He helped get through the property, rides and remembered us throughout our stay.

The entire experience from check-in to check-out was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and provided exceptional service every step along the way. They were all professional but with a wonderful level of comfort that we felt right at home. We can’t wait to go back!

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The problem we had was that the resort had 7 buildings and one pool. So unless you got there early you were forced to go to the beach. Also the lounge chairs at the pool were on top of each other with other people right next to you so there was no privacy. The lounge chairs on the beach were also very close to each other. This was a get away vacation for my wife and I and didn't appreciate spending it next to other quests.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything at our fingertips and were happy throughout our entire stay. The place was always immaculately cleaned and in order. The resort was family friendly but quiet and relaxing. The beach access was private and perfect. Thank you everyone at this resort love you guys!

Quiet Luxury & exquisite beach on site with excellent beach service.

A great place to enjoy your vacation on a beautiful seashore with mild wind and a great sunset view. The staffs are very polite,efficient, and professional. In-room amenties are so great - you will have washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided, full function kitchen as well. Can't expect more. The only thing that the management should take care of is the elevator (I was in Building 4), as I met 3 down time of that elevator during my 3 nights stay. I am OK with that, but if senior visitors who have to rely on elevators to go up and down, that will be an inconvenience. Another small issue is in-room doors to the balcony -- very tight and needs a lot of power to open / close. Perhaps it needs to be lubricated? After all, a fantastic experience, and I will be happy to visit there again!
