Great location overlooking river estuary. Room with balcony. Although not too far away and reasonably priced for a 24 stay, car parking is an issue. You can use the loading space to drop off.

Nice room overlooking the harbour. Restaurant and food was fabulous very tasty meal in the evening. Nice friendly staff. Everything was perfect.

Location was excellent especially for my elderly parents as it is on the flat quayside with close access to the ferry for crossing from east to west etc. Staff brilliant all round very helpul. Rooms good size beds comfy. Great roof terrace. Good food, hoisin crispy beef to die for big shout out to the chef. Iron etc available on request dropped of at the room straight away. Loads of tea/coffee in your rooms. En-suite/towels Dog friendly with their own welcome pack of a bowl, treat tin and blanket. Deffo would stay again but next time a balcony room as i like to sit and chill in the evening outside. Expect early morning noise from the fishing lads starting early, this doesn't bother me as we have stayed in a few harbours but if you are a complainer don't stay in any fishing harbour and moan about these grafters going out catching your evening meal. Good hotel with very good staff. I would say the rooms got really warm but it was like 9.000.000 degrees that week so not really complaining as a fan was provided. As a sea view room to me and others in our party in other sea view rooms the windows are to high so you don't really get a sea view. The ledge is chin height to shorties like my wife, daughter and mother.

Its location on the river and on the other side of the town. Thin walls and noise from next rooms and corridor. The stairs were tricky.

The hotel's location was excellent, making it a very convenient base for exploring the area. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a very good selection and quality of food. The staff were friendly and the hotel provided a comfortable stay. Parking was a little walk away.

Nothing was unpleasent experience lot of money spent for a travel tavern experience. The breakfast staff where very nice. We booked a sea view toget there after 7 hour drive to be told theres no such thing as sea view its a river veiw a tiny window at side of a building in a very basic room .i complained this is not sea room booking.com where blamed staff not willing to so anything passing blame .The rooms shown on booking.com none are sea view its a river .beach is more than 400 yards away makes its on other side of river tohave to go back onyourselve to get to it.Room 214 has a step into bathroom very hard to see bout broke me toes.the sign is nit at eye site. When complained was told its illminate its not.also loud music from bar next door so if u have young kids or elderly people with you avoid.also every time some used a toilet or wash ,shower there was a great awful screechhing noise went off all hours.I did try to resolve the room but staff pass on all blames to booking .com.

Great location, friendly staff and lovely breakfast food. Our room (family) was spacious, the bed comfortable and although at the top of the hotel and with only a high window, the view was still spectacular. Bathroom tired and could do with replacing.

The staff were amazing. The town is lovely Parking the car away from the hotel, but that is just my preference with my own car.
