The atmosphere of the pub

Beautiful building with a charming bar and cozy atmosphere. Room was clean, comfortable and a good amount of space. Unique experience to stay somewhere that has welcomed people for 500+ years! We had a room with two single beds and the linen was soft and cozy. For an old building it had a good temperature. Quieter than expected. Lovely breakfast with a lot of attention to detail. The shower was a little fiddly to get the water temp just right, so in time that could be a good update.

A really comfy room with a lovely view across the bay I I don’t like pre-ordering my breakfast for the next day that’s my only problem on the second day of our day I’d ordered another breakfast came down and couldn’t eat it. If I could’ve ordered on the day I’d just add toast with poached eggs but that’s a small thing to worry about the food and breakfast was cooked to perfection with quality ingredients. I can’t big it up enough.

The Inn has character and very interesting ghost stories. Met Zoe at breakfast, she is very friendly and told us the history of the Jolly Sailor. We turned up earlier for our checking in but they took our cases about 11am so we could enjoy the rest of our day. The day we where leaving we had go get our taxi 7. 30, they said that they could do a take away breakfast for us which was very good of them Lovely Inn and very nice owners and staff. That we had to leave, wish we could have stayed longer
