Shower pressure was pretty bad. Property felt dated. Valet was expensive and poorly staffed. I would not stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at this property! The staff was absolutely amazing, so sweet, kind, and attentive. We also loved that it was dog-friendly, which made our stay even better. The property was very clean, comfortable, and practical, especially if you’re in town for a Dodgers game or a concert nearby. We had such a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

I stay here often for work trips, the staff are the best and are always so accommodating, while make feel right at home. The rooms are always clean, cozy and the beds are so comfortable. I always look forward to staying at the Proper and will be back again soon!

Beautiful hotel and staff was exceptional. We were also traveling with our Frenchie and the hotel was very dog friendly!

Shabby lounge chairs in the waiting area were weird. We loved the food from CaraCara and breakfast.

The rooftop space with restaurant, bar, and “swimming” pool is a highlight. Food very good. Location is fine.

Beautiful views, the room was very clean, and the staff was very friendly.

The staff was particularly lovely, and I could easily walk to many great coffee shops, museums, and eateries--and don't skip Santee Alley! I know downtown gets a bad rap, but this is a real gem that reflects much of Los Angeles's history, Art Deco design, and golden colors.
