Nice inexpensive hotel for an early morning layover flight. Not near the hub bub of lax. Great staff. Nice ok hotel. Not very updated. But exactly what you need.

Valet was a joke. There was no one there to direct traffic or give directions.

The room is beyond basic, you get given 2 bottles of water which you have to pay for. None of the plug sockets worked in my room, the bathroom is tired and grimy, no real amenities other than body wash and shampoo, the entires hotel is outdated, the breakfast was so very basic, the gym is tiny and should not be called a gym, it's dark and gloomy, which is why there are no photographs of it anywhere. One of the elevators was broken at peak breakfast time, meaning it took 20 minutes to get to breakfast. The hotel is right by the freeway, and wow can you hear it all night. Including taxes, parking and breakfast, it's over $300 a night, and it's just nowhere near worth it. Find somewhere else for less money and better quality. Seriously. I've never, ever written a review about a hotel, so I'm hoping this tells you how bad this hotel is that I've felt I have to write a review to warn other travellers. It would be acceptable if it was $100 a night with free parking, and even then I'd be wary. Run away, fast.

I love the restaurant. The staff are courteous, special mention to Mario who helped us with making the room cooler by finding us a fan. What we don’t like is the room is hot. The AC is on the corner and 2 of the vent is not blowing air and the 2 that is working is covered by the big wall cabinet. The way they position the bed and wall cabinet does not maximize the space and the ac. The other thing is the bathroom has no exhaust, and because the door panel is glass, while you are sitting on the commode doing your business, they can see you from outside, it is not frosted enough. Hotel room 2 stars and only because the restaurant pulled it up.

Chic hotel but the location it’s a bit awkward. Also, you have to pay $50 parking

Nice and clean Poor breakfast when other hotels at least offer eggs, bacon, sausage

Comfortable room. When checking in, the front desk person gave us a list of items for the complimentary portion of the breakfast. It was completely WRONG, as none of the items we wanted were complimentary. We ended up paying the bill for breakfast, but the front desk apologized for this error and reversed our charge. I did not like the fact that on Day 2, one of the elevators was down, causing major delays in going up or down,

Nice place to stay !
-
Only on Elevator working have to wait through 3 elevator because they were full when it got to our floor Included breakfast is terrible. Done way better at cheaper hotels. Lots of traffic noise all night
-
breakfast is probably the worst you can think of. Sound insulation is terrible. Constant noise from other room. Won't stay again!

none The hotel needs an update. The picture was perfect, but not all that for 300$; long wait to go up and down if you need an elevator: 20 minutes up,15 down. 2 elevators, but only one operating. Free breakfast sounds real good, but if you like carbs, no protein serving. They make you feel like you stay in the Wyndham resort; pay 50$ for valet parking, very inconvient it a SoCal thing, instead you can park yourself. The room was loud from freeway noise. I had some personal things to take care of in the area, which is why I picked this hotel.

Access to near by venues/activities, quiet location, great food in the restaurant upstairs and the views from there are AMAZING!!! Very easy to retrieve car from valet - with free in and out privileges! Would definitely stay here again! Seconds to the 405 and W Sunset Blvd in the Brentwood area!!

Walk out of the lobby directly onto the promenade and the beach and if so inclined the restaurants and shops are a mere 3-4 minute stroll. But at the same time, the hotel is the last one along the promenade and next is a fantastic dune lined long beach.

It was a good location, very clan room. The breakfast was honestly disappointing. For a hotel breakfast, I expected at least some basic hot food, but there were only pastries/bread and cereal. There were no eggs, no porridge, and no decent hot options at all. I could easily have had the same breakfast in my room, so it definitely didn’t feel worth paying extra for. What was also quite uncomfortable was being asked three times by the staff which room I was staying in. It felt less like checking that breakfast was included and more like they were worried guests might eat something they weren’t supposed to. The valet parking was another major inconvenience. Every time you need your car, you have to wait for it, and if you leave and come back several times during the day, you have to hand the car over and request it again each time. This takes a surprising amount of time and makes coming and going unnecessarily complicated. Overall, the breakfast and parking experience were not what I would expect from a hotel at this level.

Breakfast cafe room is on the top floor which has great views.
