Plaza La Reina

Our suite was fantastic and the courtyard made it feel so peaceful.

Very spacious rooms with kitchen, living area and dining area. Vivianne at front desk was welcoming and friendly. Walking distance to UCLA and nearby quality restaurants. Highly recommend.

We needed to extend our stay by one night, and even in what felt like a sold-out situation, the team made it easy for us to stay in our same room — no packing, no moving, no extra stress. That kind of hospitality matters more than they probably know. The same wonderful familiar faces greeted us, with the same professionalism, warmth, comfort, and care that keep us coming back. The rooms are peaceful and well-appointed, parking is easy, the property feels safe, and the whole experience feels personal in the best way. And of course, “François” — our French Bulldog Frank’s official hotel name — is well rested and very much at home here. Plaza La Reina continues to be our UCLA home base and our little Westwood sanctuary. Merci beaucoup, as always. À bientôt.

Plaza La Reina is a gem of a boutique hotel - an oasis in the middle of Westwood. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfortable - the sheets! - as was the pull out sofa. The bathroom is large and modern, and there is even a Bosch washer/dryer. The kitchen contains everything to prepare meals including a cooktop and dishwasher. The staff are lovely and very helpful. If you are there on Tuesday or Thursday morning, walk out to Lindbrook St for a delicious coffee made by Highborn & Proues.

Our second visit to Plaza La Riena. Anytime we visit family or sightsee in LA it's our home away from home. Very walkable Westwood Village neighborhood (grocery, target, lots of restaurants) and has a great kitchenette if we feel like lounging around the suite.

Some of the rooms are needing some care. We were able to change rooms for one slightly better. Staff was very helpful. It is a special place in Westwood.

Was very happy With my stay. The room was beautiful and very large almost like a little apartment. The bed was comfortable and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip up

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at Plaza La Reina! We were in town for a medical procedure. The hotel was perfectly located to the outpatient surgical center that we attended. The room had a stocked kitchenette that met our needs for the stay. Had many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The streets were clean and safe. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were receptive to any requests! Would definitely stay here again but preferably for a more pleasurable trip!!

Always impeccable property and staff.

The room we were given was a "particular favorite" according to the front desk, and was a dark dingy room with a view of a concrete wall and two garbage dumpsters. The mattress was a marshmallow and both my spouse and I had sore backs and poor sleeping the entire time. We concluded that there was little training or supervision of the room staff. The "made" bed looked like someone had slept in, or on, the bed; we ran out of TP and there was no extra so we had to go out in search of more; there was one extra toothbrush - which was open; shower shampoo, conditioner and soap were all in tiny tubes - and not refreshed; used coffee mugs were not replaced; the bath towels were rags - literally (so small you couldn't wrap them around your body, warn almost bare, and holes). Other disappointments: one robe provided, mismatched (badly) lampshades with one lightbulb not working upon arrival, bedside table had all handles/knobs broken off, shower water pressure was poor, and the room had no chest of drawers. Finally, the walls "groaned" loudly every 4 hours or so. I have pics, but no mgr on duty to share. I would title this review, "Lots of Promise; Not a Keeper"

Will definitely be coming back

My partner Doug receives treatment at UCLA, and for the past three years we’ve stayed here a couple of times a year. What could feel like a stressful trip is softened the moment we arrive. The team knows me by name, knows “François” — our French Bulldog Frank’s very official hotel name — and even knows our favorite room. Frank knows it too and heads straight to that door like it’s his own pied-à-terre. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity. The property feels safe, elegant, calm, and easy, with simple parking — a rare LA miracle. But the people are what keep us coming back. Philippe, the manager, is wonderful, and we see many of the same familiar faces each visit, which says everything. The staff is professional, kind, and genuinely hospitable. They even look out for our budget and let us know when booking online may offer a better rate. The rooftop is also one of Frank’s favorite spots, with beautiful plantings, citrus trees, and lovely views. Plaza La Reina is elegant, warm, personal, and dependable. Location and uniqueness Not having breakfast or snack area but many food locations nearby

Everything was perfect Location you can walk to restaurants. Me and my family had an amazing time. We will definitely come back and stay at this place again.
