The fridge was leaking water on the floor and we had to get an extra towel to clean it up. The rooms are not inspected before checking in guest. There were two spiders in the room that we had to kill ourselves. Rooms are not worth the price you pay.

The bedroom size was great and so was the location. Maybe update tvs. I wanted to mirror screen my phone.

My room was cleaned thoroughly every day and was always comfortable and well-maintained. The food was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious and healthy options. The swimming pools were clean, well cared for, and pleasantly warm. I also enjoyed the many activities and entertainment programs, which were well organized and suitable for guests of all ages. I highly recommend Bahia Principe Esmeralda, especially for families with children. It is a wonderful resort that provides outstanding service, excellent facilities, and an enjoyable vacation experience. I look forward to returning in the future.

Cleaning staff was very nice.

Clean and simple room. Free parking right outside the room. A/C, fridge and microwave oven in room. Standing shower (no bathtub). No frills, value for money place. Highly recommend if you are just looking for a place to come to bed, get ready and go do your thing 😀.

Clean and affordable, but we couldn’t sleep all night because the AC unit was so noisy! May just have been our room, but very difficult when we had a long drive ahead of us

let me check in almost 2 hours early, AC unit works really well. nice bathroom, hung TV on wall with lots of options. mini refrigerator and microwave as well. Room looked and smelled clean and properly taken care of.

The room is big enough , clean , bed is comfortable . Parking is easy , close. However , the air vent cover in bathroom is very old , bent , very rusty and has a spiderweb. Vanity sink drains slowly. It takes a long time , close to 4 minutes, for the shower water to get warm enough to get under. I feel guilty wasting water especially in CA .

Clean room at a decent price. The room had a bit of a chemical cleaning smell to it, but it was a good place to rest our heads.

Staff were pleasant, not overly friendly nor rude. Basic room, which was all I needed. Housekeeping only cleaned when I requested it, rather than making me feel like I had to let them in to clean even when not wanted. It was minimally clean but could have been cleaner. Part of the issue is that the place is so old that there are probably stains that just can't be scrubbed clean. It smelled musty in the room and bathroom. Nothing to write home about, but sufficient for my needs.
