Positives: 1. Check-in was the fastest I have ever experienced. 2. Room was clean and comfortable. 3. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Negative: 1. In order to have your room cleaned each day you have to request it. I requested it and my room was not cleaned. Would stay there again.

The staff were nice and the room was clean and comfortable. We booked the room based on the upstairs terrace/patio area which looked like it had a little bar area and we were looking forward to hanging out, getting a drink and just relaxing after a long day of exploring. And while we were able to do that, it was really kind of dirty and neglected up there, absolutely nothing like the picture. It seemed maybe at one time it was really nice, but yeah, stains on almost all of the outdoor furniture, hasn't been cleaned in what seems like a long time and it was suggested we could bring food and beverage up there, which we did the drink part and it was pleasant on the 1 set of outdoor furniture that was the cleanest, it's just sad it's not actually taken care of. But the room was comfortable and clean and i guess in the end that's what mattered - again, we just booked on what we saw in the pic....

The location is in a dark area, not a lot of life and a lot of the stores around there gare closed down. This would not be a good location if you had children, handicapped or anyone that can’t walk a long ways. The staff were kind of rude. They talk like they had an attitude with you or that’s the perception that they put off very short and snappy they tell you,You have to leave $100 deposit for the room in case you smoke in it in a way that felt threatening and then I get by to the room and I get two text messages and they repeat the same thing It’s was kind of scary and I don’t even smoke. The hotel looks really bright and fun on website but in real life it’s different from the pictures. The pictures are beautiful. Looks like a fabulous place to stay but not. They show a real nice coffee bar on website but the coffee bar is a jug for water and one coffee thermos. You can’t even get ice yourself whenever you want it you have to go to the front and if the staff is available to get it for you, they have to go into a staff only area and get it. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was a hair in the bed. There was only two towels, washcloths and hand towels. I asked for extra towels they told me they would have someone bring them at 9 AM not right then when I needed them. There is a outside bar,but it was not a serving bar. and the view is of the Guitar Centers wall. I was highly disappointed in my first visit hotel stay in LA.. Know before you go!

The area around the property was garbage and dangerous for a family or someone who couldn’t protect themselves. I’m a big dude and was still concerned about the vagrancy. Photos show a bar/eating area. No bar. No food.

Staff was helpful and respectful. Room was clean with good working utilities and air conditioning

Hotel was very worn down and old. Not a lot of help. 1 person at front desk. Don’t recommend

Price is high for what it has to offer
-
Easy checkin with friendly staff. The room had everything I needed and was very clean.

The Moment Hotel was a very good place to stay, close to the center of Hollywood Boulevard, and walking distance to many scenic attractions. The staff was kind and courteous at every interaction I had with them, and very accommodating to all my requests. I was on the second floor facing Sunset Boulevard and not bothered by road noise. The hotel provided ear plugs in case they were needed, but I did not need to use them. The facility was nice and well maintained. I highly recommend it.

There was a very odd smell in the hallway, like the carpet was recently cleaned but not dry and was starting to smell mildewy
-
Clean rooms, comfortable beds and nicely decorated.
-
The energy was aligned, grateful for the Moment Hotel. I felt safe, I slept very well, and I was so close to all my events and desired locations.
-
clean, quiet, comfortable.
-
To the future travelers, that place is for you if you are willing and ready to experience different ways of life on a beautiful Sunset Boulevard.
-
Budget friendly with amazing staff and clean rooms.

what is pictured is not actually what you see in person. The upstairs rooftop area needs a lot of work. The cushions on the couch were dirty so you could not sit down, the security camera is hanging from the wall and not mounted, and the area where I believe used to be a bar was destroyed. This hotel was very scary to stay at. I had to put a chair in front of my door for an extra source of security.

The room was okay, and the shower was newly renovated and nice. The hotel patio had potential but was run-down and dirty. The biggest downside was that the reception area constantly smelled like marijuana. Since we were traveling with children, this was especially unpleasant, as we had to walk through it every time we entered or left the building.

Room was not ready at the time of check in and was told to wait 15-20 min, came back they gave us the room key we got up and the cleaning crew was still in the room cleaning and we were told we were given the wrong room so front desk came up to give us different keys to a different room and did waive the parking fee to apologize for the inconvenience.

The staff were friendly and helpful, with someone available 24 hours a day if we needed anything. Free luggage storage was a really useful bonus, and there was convenient on-site parking available for an additional charge. The location was great for exploring the west side of LA, with plenty of attractions, restaurants and shops within easy reach. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with everything we needed for our stay.
