Great experience everything was easily accessible

The hotel was no frills, inexpensive, and 10 minute walking distance to the LA Convention center. The hotel lobby and room had a rather stale smell and the hallways and elevator had no AC so it was really humid while we were there this summer. The parking lot next door was a bit sketchy and the elevator didn’t work. They charged an extra $25 a day for amenities, including free water bottles so at least we made sure to get water bottles. Every chance we got the breakfast in the morning was very simple: dry cereal, bagels, yogurt, and milk, coffee. It fulfilled its purpose for our short stay. The staff were very friendly and kind.

Location of hotel is excellent, walkable to many DTLA highlights, byline just out the door and metro only 1.5 blocks away. Staff very friendly. Older building so street noise at night. I recommend ear plugs. Beds were a bit soft. Breakfast included is very nice however this time there was no chef so the same items were there each morning rather than hot meal like last time which I hope they bring back when we stay again in a couple of months.

It was a comfortable spot to stay. The paint was peeling off the wall.

Superb
-
This is a 2 star hotel - not very nice. My view was a wall. There was a wet spot in the carpet in front of the mini fridge. The AC cannot be on in the middle of the night without a bright blue light illuminating the room. The sheets were horribly scratchy. Will not be staying here again.

My room did not have AC, and the moved rooms and still the AC was not working. Terrible
-
All the staff were so kind and helpful. A really comfortable and spacious stay. The AC in the rooms is also amazing, although the hallways are warm.

Our complain to booking, what was also reported to the police when they came to our room: Dear All, We are writing to formally report an unfortunate incident that occurred during our stay at The O Hotel, 819 Flower Street, Los Angeles. We checked in on Saturday, August 8th, at approximately 10:00-10:30 p.m. As soon as we entered our room, we noticed that the in-room safe was not functioning. We immediately contacted the front desk, and a staff member came to inspect it. He confirmed that the safe was indeed not working and assured us that it would be checked and repaired by the appropriate maintenance personnel the following morning. The following day, I left the room at approximately 9:20 a.m., being the last person to leave. Before leaving, I informed the front desk that we would like our blankets replaced and that the safe was still not functioning, as no one had come to repair it. We were assured that the issue would either be resolved or that we would be moved to another room. When my fiancé and I returned to the hotel later that afternoon, no one had yet inspected or repaired the safe. At that time, I noticed that although the room door was locked, it was not completely closed. I also observed that my suitcase, where we had stored a fanny pack containing part of the cash for our trip, appeared to have been slightly opened. Given the circumstances and our focus on resolving the safe issue, we did not initially attach significance to these observations. We again requested assistance regarding the safe. A staff member came to the room, and after hearing our explanation, decided that it would be best to move us to another room. My fiancé first inspected the new room to ensure that the safe was functioning properly. Once he confirmed that it was, we moved our belongings. The remainder of our trip proceeded without incident until Tuesday morning, when, while packing our belongings, we realized that the fanny pack was missing.

Location is close to underground trains Sy,the manager was nice and polite Web pics are different from reality, our room had window on the back side of the building and the space to next building was like 1 metre and also a noisy exhaust from kitchen or vent system was right next to our window. Also the bed sheets had a powerful smell of bleach wich was affecting our sleep .

Clean, friendly staff and good breakfast None
-
I was disappointed to find out the parking structure next door had a non functioning elevator had to use the stairs schlepping my luggage with me . The staff were very friendly. As were the bar tendresses .For being 4 star Boutique hotel its a little tired. Meaning there were lumps in the carpets and noticeable scratches on furniture and The hotel hallways should be air conditioned ...

The staff was definitely the best part. They were great.

The location. Easily accessible to the subway and many stores/restaurants. A/C was easy to adjust. First I was put in a room with an un even floor and had duct tape holding some of the floor together. The phone didn’t work and none of the rooms have a view according to the staff. Both rooms I was in faced a brick wall or alley. The second room had mold in the fridge and faced an alley above a restaurant dumpster and the homeless slept in the alley keeping me up most of the screaming and fighting. There was only air in the lobby and rooms in the hotel the rest of the hotel(hallways) did not smell pleasant because no air=hot and stinky. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. Lumpy and the pillows were lumpy also. My iron was broken and my ice bucket they filled for me had a big crack in the bottom so when the ice melted it leaked everywhere. Pictures show taped floor, moldy fridge, cracked bucked and alley room view.

Good breakfast Why do they hold a deposit like most hotels in US

5/5 Stars – Outstanding Customer Service! What made our experience so special? Without a doubt, the staff! They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. As newcomers to America, we were completely out of our depth, but the two team members who looked after us were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommend! When we first arrived, there was a noticeable odor when walking in—though we weren't sure if it was just because of the age of the building or if it was just something foreign to us coming from overseas. However, we quickly got used to it as we settled in. Most importantly, the establishment was definitely clean, and the rest of our experience was great!
