Derby City Gaming & Hotel - A Churchill Downs Property

Excellent property. We would stay again!

I loved the location to the airport as well as the location next to Churchill Downs Stables as I got to watch horses trot around a track one morning.

Very clean and affordable. The food is amazing. This is my third time staying here and I will be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean.

Derby City Gaming & Hotel is a beautiful hotel. Of course, it's very large, so parking is not convenient. Also, they have 3 restaurants and 1 cafe, but no continental breakfast. My room was absolutely gorgeous and pristine. The artwork throughout the hotel was also incredible.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely spotless, well decorated, and big. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Had an amazing 5 day stay. Friendly staff, and a very fun time at the slots.

Beautiful rooms, Oliver's chop house and bourbon bar was excellent. Had a great time here.

Very nice hotel for the price.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The only thing that I had a problem with was the room we were given was not clean. There was an old drink, a used towel and tissue left in the room on the bed. Someone also used the restroom and didn't flush. I was upset about that but went back down and given another room. Although happy for the other room nothing else was done about the inconvenience. Other than that my stay was great.

Great place. It would be perfect if it had options for breakfast. Having to leave the premises early to find food is not ideal.

KK from the night shift 6/24 was exceptional! Extremely kind and polite and helpful. Really made us feel welcome. Our hotel room was beautiful. Beds were extremely comfortable. Decor was beautiful. Water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!! Would definitely come back here again.

The property is in a great location but very run down! There was only one person at the bar and only one waitress, which we could never get the attention of on the casino floor

Free parking, restaurants and bars onsite, as well as casino. Rooms spacious and clean.

No microwave in room but there is one in the lobby for guests to use. Coffee is available in the lobby only until 1:00 pm. Very nice hotel.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Tennessee from WI. It was a wonderful stay for the night. Everything was clean and comfortable.
