Bali Paradise Hotel Boutique Resort

The hotel has big rooms which are comfortable and is located in a quiet area a few steps from the beach and Main Street of Lovina. It has a lot of facilities which makes a stay very comfortable

Very good

Spacious room with large bathroom and comfortable balcony. Good hot water, but it takes 2 minutes to start. Plenty of furniture and chairs. Location is quiet, but within an easy walk to the village, several restaurants nearby, and about 3 minutes from the beach. Pool is set in a pleasant garden. There are 5 choices for breakfast. Pool tables and ping-pong are available. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. Beautiful geckos and meter-long monitor lizards in the garden. Several complaints, mostly minor: 1. No outside good or drinks are allowed (this rule not mentioned online). We brought some anyway and the staff was understanding. There is a minibar, but the choice is limited, as we wanted to keep some fresh fruit, rather than the biscuits and cookies provided in the minibar. 2. The plumbing had several minor issues. 3. "Seaview" is a generous description. The view on the water is quite narrow, through trees, and distant. There are great views on the surrounding rice paddies, but mostly from the hallway. 4. There are bugs (not in the rooms), but that applies to everywhere in Bali.

Was quite, not many persons so the Pool was nearly private. And the staff was good. That’s a personal thing and not related to hotel. Lovina was not out spot. There is nothing…I assume for some other guys that is an advantage. So personal statement.

Quiet, comfy bed. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Just a minutes walk to Ganesha beach and about 7 minutes to the main street and the centre of town. The jogging track along the beach makes it really easy to get to the Dolphin statue by walking along the beach. The food is good in the restaurant and the staff keep the place very clean.

service and staff. room was large. The breakfast omelet with the canned or frozen vegetables was absolutely terrible. Considering how nice everything else was, it was a big disappointment. Recommend you use freshly sliced vegetables.

Very nice hotel With swimming pool billiard ping-pong, and a nicely decorated and spacious common area. Room are comfortable with a large terrace, looking at the beautiful countryside. Restaurants areas are about 10 minutes walk (There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel )The beach with all the boats to organize The dolphin tours are just in front of the hotel.

We have been travelling now for 10 months, one of which has been here in Bali. It stands to reason then that we have some insider experience where hotels are concerned. Unfortunately we are not so impressed by this establishment and for us it has not lived up to the 5 star ratings that we see. We discovered, at reception, that our room is considered a ’budget’ room and although it comes with a hair dryer, fridge, kettle, bottled water tea & coffee, it has no soap in the bathroom. Brining it to the attention of reception, thinking it was an oversight, we were told that there is hand sanitiser only and no soap is provided as it is a ‘budget’ room. We found this surprising and most unacceptable. Have they learned nothing from the recent pandemic where we all know that most importantly washing hands with soap is of paramount and sanitiser is a secondary hygiene measure? We have never, during this long travel or other travels, not had soap in a bathroom. This surely a basic requirement. The reception staff was quite adamant with us that to supply us with soap is against hotel policy pointing out what amenities are included on the Bookings site. We were quite insulted by this attitude towards us over a piece of soap! Eventually, only after our persistence and after the staff had called the hotel manager who was “at an external business meeting” (Saturday evening) were we allowed two small (typical hotel) cakes of soap with the message “for tonight only”, fortunately one will do amply for our two night stay (additionally we were also given two sachets of shampoo that we did not ask for). Further, the hotel appears empty which does not lend itself to a good atmosphere. Staff seem understandably to hang around looking rather uninspired. It cannot be pleasant for them. Lack of soap or the inexplicable reasoning from both staff and manager. The manager states that the blue liquid in the bathroom is soap, it clearly is NOT. I have worked as a nurse for 45 years and definitely know the difference between soap and sanitiser! It’s insulting.

breakfast was great...great pool.. Magnificent looking place..1st floor no escalator..oh well you get ...that.great view though...phone out of order ..said it would be fixed ... which it wasnt..kettle didnt turn off automatically got the usual bali bs that theyre all like that....signs saying no outside food or drink allowed...went downstairs to order a snack to be told ..sorry ..restaurant not open till dinnertime....another sign..fridge not to be used for any personal items..its only for the minibar....why advertise that there is a fridge then?.. NO TV!!!! only netfliks and youtibe????? not once while i was lying next to the pool..usually by myself, did anyone ask if i wanted a drink or anything..had to find the staff who had nothing to do in the empty hotel ..nice pool table, no balls i guess i had to go and ask. .....fair walk from anything...and no hotel transport of any kind....overall frustratingly disappointing

Exceptional

Very silent place. nice environment. easy check in. vintage look, renovation necessary. shower and sink dirty. difficult to find.

The size of the suite. Nice swimmingpool. Lot to do for the children. No outside food. Limited option in mini fridge. No sugar free products.

Beautiful hotel; warm, friendly, and super helpful staff; close to the beach; loved the pool!; and the food was fantastic!! Out of all the places I stayed in Bali, this was my absolute favorite!!! Nothing
