It is a beautiful property The location isn’t great if you plan to spend much time walking around the old town

The staffs are very nice and helpful

Location is perfect, the facilities are great? Food was delicious, we got a bungalow and it felt like we were there by ourselves and the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, the highlight of our stay was definitely the staff, specially the ones at the restaurant, they were just incredibly nice. The hotel was just incredible, the only thing I would add is body lotion in the rooms, after a day walking in the sun, you def need to put on some lotion, but everything was just great.

The staff were amazing here. Everyone so helpful and lovely. The property itself is gorgeous and the rooms feel very comfortable and private. Breakfast was above expectations! NA

I was so impressed with everything about this resort. I will begin with the fact that I had been in LP a week and was ready to leave when I found that my ongoing flight had been cancelled. Feeling a little stressed I randomly picked this resort on booking.com and they made the next 24 hours wonderful for me. From the tea and fruit greeting on arrival to the upgraded room. My Dream is an oasis of calm with a gracious and efficient staff. The room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was a perfect firmness. After a delicious dinner at their dining room, a good night's sleep and a buffet breakfast (included) I had three hours after check out until my free shuttle back to the airport. Rather than have me wait in the lobby, staff escorted me to a private walled bungalow with a pool, king bed, dining room and kitchenette for me to rest in until my departure! Lovely. The staff go out of their way for you here. If you are going to Luang Prabang book yourself into My Dream Boutique Resort.

It was pretty on-site. A bit of an oasis. A pool bag and flip flops were provided, in addition to clean drinking water and fruit. The up-charges were steep. For example they charged $20 USD for laundry, but when I got it done again on my own down the street it was $8 for the same volume. Also, rooms were not sealed from outside. Many big bugs crawling around inside the room. There were mosquito nets around the beds, but after finding multiple huge centipedes and spiders, I had a hard time peacefully sleeping through the night. Also shower drain clogged and shower-head broken. Worst shower ever. The location was about a 15 minute commute from the main part of town with restaurants and night market. Had to hire cars every day back and forth, which significantly added to the cost of the trip. There was a shuttle, but the times were not ideal for our group.

The property is located close to the airport, which is about 15 min drive from most of the restaurants. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good enough. Very charming property, has a jungle feel. Yoga class is offered 3 times a week. Lots of bugs

I get the sense that the range in quality of rooms is quite big at this place - my room was quite ordinary (ground level, no view, no privacy on the balcony) but I imagine the second floor rooms and the villas are a much better experience - so beware what room type you book; staff was helpful and accommodating; there's lots of greenery, extending to the river, and a pool; the restaurant is nice, open-air, overlooking the pool; the room was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower it's great that they had mosquito netting (it's necessary as the property is close to the river and there are mosquitoes), but mine was really uncomfortable - it was one of those with a small base on top and pyramidal shape which means it covers you like a blanket, rather than just marking your sleeping space's borders, outside reach - I ended up removing it aside all my nights as I just couldn't keep tangling with it; also, the property is 25 mins walk from downtown (they do have a shuttle but at infrequent, "old people" hours - meaning suitable for someone who'd go to town for an early dinner and get back right after); the wifi connection and speed is not good (that seems to be the case across the whole town, from what I can see)

I liked the vibes about the property. It had a Laotian feel to it. It was very clean. And the bar service in restaurant was particularly helpful. There was really nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

The property itself looked very nice & breakfast buffet was lovely. During the evening there was loud banging coming from the bathroom & staff assured us it was fixed a few minutes later. Then during the middle of the night it started again & we had to change rooms. Also did not like the location of the hotel - had to take a shuttle to town.

This review is based on our first stay. We liked it so much we returned and we’re blown away of them upgrading us to a private signature villa no charge! Nothing!

Charming hotel with an Asian island flair. Lush greenery, beautiful garden extending to the banks of the Nam Khan river, wonderful pool and amazing patio where we met wonderful people travelling like us. We borrowed the bikes and it was very nice to have them but we’ve had better bikes and they could be better maintained

I enjoyed the location which was across the river from the town. The staff were amazing and helped us with all of our bookings. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff are truly amazing. They have two pools which is fabulous. And it's right on the river with a beautiful walking area, sitting area and spa. Nothing

Beautiful garden and exterior-and lovely staff. Good (though expensive) cocktails. The facilities need serious maintenance and for the price the rooms should be much cleaner… the pool was small but very appreciated. The pool deluxe rooms were much more modern than the villa.

Breakfast was great each morning, the staff was amazing, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. A short ride or nice walk (about a mile) to town. The neighborhood was very walkable and felt very safe. The shower had a little issue with temperature control, but we eventually figured it out. Other than that, everything was great.

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The staff was amazing. What a great group of associates they have. They were so proactive about things going so far to offer us a ride to the airport without me even asking. We had the private pool villa and the pool wasn’t very clean.

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

We enjoyed a lot our stay. Staff was very welcoming, offered and helped us arranging tours and complimentary transportation back to the airport. The property is beside the river, very green full of trees and plants. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was cool - we had dinner there twice since we didn't want to go down town and food was tasty and prices were good. My family used the spa and were very happy. The room has the feel of a cabin which fit perfectly with the environment. The location is ok. It is about 20 minute walk or 7 USD tuk tuk ride from the city center. They offer a shuttle back and forth with several trips from the hotel and few back from the city center.

Veto noisy area to read and sleep, my room was facing the street from one side, and my neighbor balcony from the other side. Dinned wasn’t good and expensive. Laundry wasn’t available . Sunset pool

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Really beautiful place and friendly staff. Our bathroom door was broken when we arrived and they weren’t able to fix it during our short stay.

It was fantastic. Staff were very friendly, rooms comfortable, the view were breathtaking and offered free shuttle to city center. Highly recommended
