Location was great. Size of rooms good. Lighting in rooms too dark. Breakfast OK. Sausage and bacon small and didn't look fresh or edible.

The 2 guys at reception are amazing. Super nice, always there to help you from morning to night. Breakfast is cooked just for you and you can choose from 6-7 items on a menu. They have a water cooler so you can fill your bottle for the day. Night market is 5 min away, very easy to walk anywhere in town, but tuk-tuk are close-by if you need. Hotel is in a charming and quiet little street, 2 min from the Mekong. They rent bikes and scooters. Easy and cheap to have your laundry done by the hotel or by a number of places down the street. Everything was great! :)

This place was okay and well located near the centre of the town and close to the Mekong river. The room I had was small but the bed was comfortable enough. The biggest problem for me was the tiny safety deposit box which was not bolted down and therefore was "portable". This meant I had to carry my valuables with me wherever I went, which became tiresome with the weight of a small laptop, which I needed to have with me for work purposes. The staff were very helpful though and tried their best to make something better than it was. The room could do with a makeover and the bathroom was basic to say the least. Breakfasts were okay but nothing special. The overall experience was okay but could have been so much better. At £50 a night it was expensive. I moved to another hotel afterwards which was nearby and was better and 20% cheaper. Nothing more to add

It would be just great, staff was so helpful to even get me some medicine when I was too sick to go out, but before our planned of check out we were informed that there was an overbooking and we out of a sudden needed to find another acommodation and move there. It was announced to us during breakfast, only two hours before check out hours while I was still being extremely sick. This was really dissapointing, especially because our stay would just be great otherwise.

only the location because it is close to everything i needed. on our second night at 01:30 am i heard a loud banging noise which woke me up from my sleep. it went on for 15 mins which sort of terrified us, it sounded like someone was trying to break in. So we decided to call the reception and they told us the water heater next door broke and they had to fix it which of course they chose to fix it in the middle of the night and it could not wait until dawn. they also told us they were finishing but no. it went on for hours and i was super tired as those noise kept me up until 3:30 am. when i woke up at 8am the noise and fixing still went on. it was very unprofessional and of course they did not care whether the entire event was an concern for us. i am not going to stay here again.

Love the location. Within walking distance to many attractions - temples, night market, day market, river shore, start point for river cruise, good eating places, etc. Very strategic location. The breakfast was decent. Love the fact that you can get freshly squeezed orange juice every morning for your breakfast. Hotel comes with hot water shower (good water pressure), because during my trip, the days were quite cool. You really need hot shower in the evening. Room size of decent size. Considered spacious as you have 2-seater sofa and coffee table in the room to relax. Front desk staff not very helpful. Asked him if he could help arrange to purchase train ticket back to Vientianne. He told us to queue up at the ticket office ourselves. We mentioned that it would be difficult for us to purchase as the ticket office accepts only one payment mode - no cash, no credit card - for which we do not have. We went high and low looking for a travel agent who provided the service. Apparently, most other hotels in Luang Prabang do help their hotel guests to purchase the train ticket, but not this hotel that we stayed at.

Breakfast was fantastic and made to order every morning. Staff were really attentive and always there to help. Location amazing, such a beautiful little street! A few bits that needed some TLC - leaky shower heads, toilet seats etc. Very small things that could be fixed for absolute perfection!
