Good value for money and prime location. Rooms are pretty much next to the road so there’s some kind of sound almost all time of the day - people, cars passing by, etc. The location of the breakfast is also around 3-4 mins walk from the hotel building.

Great location, comfy bed, decent breakfast. We were next to the reception so could hear a lot of noise from reception and noise from outside early in the morning

Love the building itself. Room is perfect size for two of us. Wooden floor and all about wood made me feel nostalgic of being home. Breakfast is not at the same location. It is a couple of minutes walk at the river bank of Mekong. Picturesque scene. Love the breakfast too. Receptionist boy does not speak much English, but he understands and tried his best to explain. Location is perfect. Walking distance to Mt. Phousi and other restaurants.

The service wasn’t very friendly. The beds were very hard. The bathroom smelled bad (maybe bad plumbing?) from when we arrived until when we left. We had new towels when we arrived but they had forgotten to take out the dirty towels from the previous guests, which made us question how clean everything was? Also the breakfast was VERY disappointing. We booked this hotel because of the amazing breakfast reviews but they either stopped doing the really nice breakfast or they only do it during the busy season? They walked us to a buffet breakfast place less than 5 minutes away and the food wasn’t good. Also, we aren’t vegan but you wont be able to eat much if you are. The breakfast was bread, pre-cooked fried eggs, and the Laos breakfast porridge with meat in it? Wouldn’t have been as disappointing if we hadn’t been looking forward to the breakfast so much! But decided to not even get the breakfast the second day, even though it was already paid for. Definitely recommend staying somewhere else, especially because this stay was a more expensive option compared to others.
