It is a good area to go and see different venues.

I requested to cancel my last night's stay due to personal safety concerns. The management said they would only charge me 1/2 the rate I had reserved with. I guess this was better than nothing and I will have to check my credit card statement to see if this was indeed the case. The bathroom floors were constantly wet and slippery due to the shower design and placementt. The wooden floors in the room were highly polished and slippery - every in bare feet! Breakfast was not on-site - ashort walk to the riverside but a less than pleasing selection of self-serve items to choose from. We ate elsewhere after the first morning's stay.

The location was ok. The room was very small and smelly and the toilet was not that clean.

Vura re disa përmirësime - salla e ndenjes duket më e freskët dhe çarçafët ndihen më të butë. Stafi ishte, si gjithmonë, tepër i sjellshëm. Trajtimi në spa ishte i shkëlqyer, megjithëse sistemi i rezervimeve mund të ishte më i butë. Mëngjesi në tarracë ishte i bukur, por më mungon përzierja e vjetër e kafesë. Duke lënë mënjanë detajet e vogla, Villa Thida ende kap sharmin dhe qetësinë që më bënë të dashurohesha që në herën e parë.

In the beginning we stayed in the ground floor and it was darker and less air but the staff changed with no problem the room to match our needs

We had to change rooms twice when extending our stay, but not a big issue.

We had a lovely stay in here, eventually we added another night. This is an old tradition house full of charm, the rooms are simple but nice, we stayed in the second floors and had many light and air with a nice view of the street. The staff was helpful and nice. We would come again Breakfast is not the tastiest, but sufficient .

The building is quiet and old at Luang prabang city. Make sure clean and comfortable.
