The view from the top floor balcony is fabulous - try to get room #1 with its view of the river and Mount Phousi. Lovely room. Great location. Lam, the manager, is really helpful. Very good value for money. Water and toiletries are provided in sustainable packaging.

Central location at walking distance to shops and river side. Friendly staff and nice clean room in a historic building. It is an old building which means the occasional spider or ants encounter. Unfortunately the wifi had no connectivity for a couple of days.

The breakfast was awful small portions one morning our honey pancakes were served with ants already in them. Absolutely unacceptable The coffee cups were visibly dirty and the smoothies were warm The rooms were unhygienic stained bedsheets which hadn’t been changed, ant infestation in the bathroom and, stained broken toilet seats When we asked for the sheets to be changed instead of just changing them while we were on our way out, they asked us to show the dirt on the sheets. The door didn’t seal properly so heat and bugs could get into the room all night long. The door has a 1-2 cm gap The rooms clearly aren’t cleaned well between people, as there were someone else’s shoes left.

Breakfast was included which was a perfect start for each day. They offered free water from the dispenser in the office so we could fill our canteens everyday. They also re-filled 2 glass bottles in our room daily. We really appreciated this, so to avoid using plastic! The 2 pools were wonderful to cool off from the heat. We had a view of the river and mountains from our second story balcony which was really lovely. We recommend this place and cannot wait to return.

Definitely stay here again - super value for money!! We had a very comfortable stay. On arrival we unexpectedly had a room upgrade which was super as the new room was very spacious
