Tank Inn

The hotel is located on the 5th floor above a supermarket. It is very difficult to locate because there’s absolutely no signage. On Booking.Com it’s listed as ‘Tank Inn’ but it goes by another name. There are no staff at reception and a passport is screened by a machine. When I made the reservation I had the option of paying by debit card. However the hotel would only accept cash which was very inconvenient. After the passport has been screened and cash paid the room card is issued which allows access. On departure the card has to be placed in a slot in a machine. It would not accept my card and I left it under the base of the machine with the edge showing. There is a notice stating that failure to return the room card would lead to a financial penalty. I hope Booking.com will look into issues that I’ve raised in this post. With regard to the bedroom it was clean & tidy. Being windowless it was stuffy and oppressive. A kettle and mug were provided but with only one sachet of green tea. The hotel was mean spirited for providing just one bottle of water and one towel. Refer to the above.
