They have hot water in the shower and wifi works great from the bedroom. There was a tv and a fridge as well as AC. They provided 1 bottle of water a day. And they cleaned the room everyday. Location is next to nice and affordable restaurants. The host was really nice and even took me to the doctor as I arrived sick. Room 101 is not that big but great for one person. It might be tight with two people with big luggage.

Mohamed and his family were extremely kind. The room was cozy and the Internet was fast. The activities offered were the same tours as the ones at the fancier hotels, just cheaper in price. I was a fan of the breakfast as well. The only real con was that it wasn’t directly on the bikini beach, so you definitely need a cover up to get home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sun Shine View in Maafushi! From the moment we arrived, Mohamed and his wife made us feel so warmly welcomed. They personally met us at the ferry, helped carry our bags, and ensured we settled in comfortably — such incredible hospitality! Throughout our stay, they were always attentive and kind, going above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Mohamed and his wife not only organised all of our fantastic excursions but also personally dropped us off each morning at the ferry terminal and came with us to pick up our professional photos, making everything so easy and stress-free. Every morning, we were treated to an amazing complimentary breakfast, featuring delicious fresh fruits and juice, and yummy omlettes Thanks to their kindness, we also learned so much about island life and the local culture, which made our trip even more meaningful. They also shared all the best snorkal spots and recommended shops. The value for the price is unbeatable: the rooms are very clean and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, reliable hot water, and thoughtful touches like free drinking water, towels, and snorkeling gear available for guests. We highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Maafushi and we will be back!

The owner of the property, Mr. Mohamed and his wife, are very hospitable hosts. They make sure their guests are comfortable in all ways. They helped us a lot in our activities and also do the booking for us. All that’s left for us to do is to enjoy our moments in Maafushi. Two thumbs up for Sunshine View Hotel.

Clean, comfortable

All is excellent. The room that we booked is not too big, not too small either. Just nice and cozy for 2 adults. The room is clean, the toilet also. The host Mr Syafiq is very friendly n helpful ! Overall our stay here is very satisfied and we were very happy with the hospitality ? recommended this place ??

Really good guest house in Maafushi managed by extremely kind and professional hosts. Mr. Shafeeq helped us everything from booking round trip transfers from Male airport to Maafushi, picked us and dropped us at the port ensuring no additional stress for us, helped us book excursions. The guesthouse was close to the main tourist point of the island i.e. the bikini beach (around 5 mins walking) and other important shopping streets, ATM, supermarkets etc.
