Everything was fine the bathroom could stand updating. The door was damaged at the bottom.

Staff was very accommodating.

Bar staff advised that they did not have any of the stuff to make any of the cocktails on their menu. They also did not have any Michelob Light beer. I normally always stay at Hilton Garden Inn’s because of the bar but this was a disappointment. On the other hand the hotel was very clean and the staff was great!

We went down to order dinner from the grill at 5 and we're asked to give them thirty minutes to get our food ready as they weren't set up yet. We gladly waited and when we saw the food was being boxed up we went to pay and the person behind the bar was running around to the kitchen and other patrons. I waited another fifteen minutes for her to get our food bagged and pay. I was hungry and tired, this part wasn't a good experience. Hopefully it was a one time thing, everyone has a bad day.

It was very clean and the front desk staff was excellent. The beds were comfy. No regular coffee in the room (just decaf and tea). Housekeeping knocked on the door at 10 (well before checkout…with a do not disturb hanger on the door). She did apologize, but it led us to go ahead and pack up and leave. Breakfast is a steep charge when there’s great food all over town. The room was nice though- clean and well furnished. Great location for anything in or around Mercer and downtown Macon.

Staff was great. We got in at 1:30am and checkin was seamless

On the way during a storm, he was in a motor vehicle accident- a car hit him broadside and his rental car totaled. As soon as I found out he was physically ok- I phoned the Hilton Garden Inn and advised them of what happened, offered a police report and spoke to LaToya who said it was no problem to cancel, but I would have to do this through Hotels.com since I booked through them. I filed a notice with hotels.com and was advised the next day that the hotel had denied my request for a refund. Terrible customer service in the face of an unexpected car accident. Will never book at a HGI again! Charged full price for a room that he could not make it to because his rental car had been totaled by another driver and he had no way to get to Macon as we live in FL and he was on a business trip. Wrong business philosophy.

Great place next to the college. Outside areas were great for relaxing after a trip

The property was very well maintained, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Our bartender Erica was so welcoming and after a long day of travel we to were have a bite to eat and a drink with nice conversation. 💕

Horrible Roach in the room the first night and the beds are hard as a rock.
