Burke Mansion

Our room was very comfortable, the check in process was well managed and dinner advice was welcomed. Access to complimentary drinks was appreciated. The decor was very much in period and certainly added to the ambience of the mansion. The large number of dead flies and roaches on the floor of the bedroom was off putting. The unsecured toilet seat was dangerous and led to several anxious moments particularly at night!! Breakfast was well cooked but limited in choice and amount. The price we paid led us to expect more.

The location was close to restaurants (about a 15 minute walk) and close to two historic home which we visited. Breakfast was very good, coffee as well and served in a beautiful dining room in the house. The house is spectacular, museum like, well cared for. Property manager was very cordial, helpful and a pleasure to have met. We enjoyed our first visit to Macon and had a wonderful experience at the Burke Mansion. We would stay again and recommend it. Our bed was a bit too soft for my spouse's liking. Our bathroom was on the small size. Next time we will opt for a larger room but overall very lovely.

The property is fantastic. It feels like you are staying in a museum, yet at the same time it is beautiful and cozy. Every detail of the interior is thoughtfully designed. The location is excellent and very close to the main sightseeing attractions. Breakfast is great as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Nothing

The mansion is in a beautiful neighborhood and the location is splendid, just above Mulberry Street and the Opera House. This historic home is furnished and very well appointed. The shower water could have been a bit hotter.

The staff was very warm and welcoming, the home itself is beautiful and the food was the perfect comfort food. We really appreciated how much Brianna was so helpful in making our stay comfortable and pleasant. This was my second time here and I look forward to my next stay. It would be helpful to have a full length mirror in the rooms and more level spaces to place your items. It would also help to have multiplugs to charge items. Outlets are few in the rooms.

Splendid! A delightful step back in time. Friendly manager took extra effort. My extended stay was quite sumptuous but still relaxed. Highly recommend for a stay over with friends, to sit, talk and enjoy the spaces and then sleep in on dreamy beds!

Loved it and the folks best awrvice so nice

Absolutely beautiful. This was a stopover for us while passing through this part of Georgia but should have been a destination in itself. Paul, the manager, was eminently hospitable, helpful and engaging. The breakfast was also pretty fine - including (among other things) probably the best grits we had in Georgia.

Paul was fantastic! I was there on business and while there, several Florida evacuees were there. Normally I would have stayed at a hotel. Glad I got to have this excellent experience

Our first visit to the Burke but not our last! The mansion is amazing and Paul, the proprietor is too! Beautiful made to order breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Lovely!!!
