Very clean and quiet at night. Private. We forget we were even in a hotel room. There’s nothing. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

All rooms offered had a dog smell. One room had left over dog food on the floor. Rooms that allow pets should be separate from those that do not per allergied. The swimming pool wasn't able to be used due to maintenance issues which wasn't advertised and the breakfast did not taste fresh with a smaller variety than most locations I've stayed in the past.

Our stay was eventful and very nice... until it wasn't. The entire property was clean, my only complaint is the highway noise but we stayed at a hotel right by the interstate so it was expected. The room was nice. The lady working at the front desk was extremely nice and professional. Yet when there was a tornado on the ground and heading directly our way, she informed us that she was very sorry but the hotel did not have a plan for that, and off the top of her head the best place would be the bathrooms in our rooms. So ~15 of us stayed on the first floor gathered in an interior hallway instead of going upstairs to our rooms. I feel like the hotels manager either needs to put together a plan, or if there is one, ensure that all staff know of it or a location of a map of the property with shelters on it.

The bathroom had a closet which was different, and rusty floors. Very small compared to the photo online. Will not stay again.

Our experience at this hotel was outstanding!!! The rooms were neatly arranged and clean, and the staff were very professional. We visit Macon GA twice a year and Residence Inn is always our #1 hotel of choice. The staff provides outstanding guest services characterized by warmth, personal respect and responsiveness. Thank you all so much as we truly look forward to our next visit!!!

The room was great, entering was clean, the property was well kept, the staff were all friendly. The breakfast had a lot of choices and everything seemed to be freshly prepared.

The property was well kept and clean. There was only 1 elevator and such a long walk to my room on the end of the building

The only issue was an overpowering bleach smell from cleaning the room when I first got to the room; but on advising staff, they sprayed a room freshener and turned on the air conditioning system to remove the odor. The bed linens also smelled strongly of bleach.

Parking was secure. The front desk staff were friendly, professional and kind. However, the building needs updating. Our room smelled like mildew, carpet was worn and old. The pool had a white film floating on top so we skipped a swim (that we were looking forward to after sitting for hours in tons of traffic). We traveled with family and a young child. Their room smelled strongly of cat urine. We arrived late due to traffic and were too tired to complain so we used our own air freshener which somewhat helped. Even though the rooms clearly stated no smoking our rooms and hallway reeked of marijuana.
