Hampton Inn Madison Huntsville Airport

Excellent breakfast, the bedroom room and bathroom was well maintained, it would have been nice to have an extra set of towels i.e. three sets of towels for two people). The staff was very responsive when I informed them that the person next door was blaring a TV until 3:00 in the morning. The staff put me in another room for the rest of the night so I could finally get some sleep, very considerate. I did not like the fact that you could not select "continuous fan" when the compressor is not running. If the fan had continuous running option I would not have heard the TV blaring through the wall. The handicap accessible room was extremely close to the handicap car parking which was great.

Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast. The food was fresh and presented in an appeasing way. The staff made sure the counters were wiped down and always presentable. Everything was fantastic. Nothing noticeable to me.

Very nice property!! Loved our stay! Good breakfast! Great staff! Our room was perfect and at great price! Just kind of wish it was an indoor pool! And the gate was broke on it! But everything else was amazing!

I was given a handicapped room anyway; however, I’m glad I wasn’t disabled in any way because it would have been difficult to manage in that room. 1) There was a raised divider in the floor between the 2 different types of flooring. This could have caused an accident for anyone especially someone with difficulty walking, which I don’t have. 2) the bathroom was huge… Apparently allowing for a wheelchair, etc.,… But there were no obvious additions for handicap other than a rail by the tub and one by the toilet. 3) the tube bottom appeared to be quite smooth, thus providing no traction that would help a person stand safely in the shower. 4). there was no nightlight or any form of additional heating as is normally found in a hotel bathroom. 5) it seemed to me that the linens, including the towels and the sheets were quite worn. 6) all in all I was very disappointed with my stay at this Hampton, even though I have stayed at others which were in for better condition 7). The lighting in the room was not adequate for me because the lamps were giving off just very dim light. 8). I left a day early. I did not stay for the second night, even though I had paid for it because I just was not comfortable and could not stay in this room.

The staff at check in were very nice, our room smelled clean as soon as we entered it, and the facility overall is well maintained and clean. I was very impressed and would go there again in a heart beat .

Airport shuttle was great, staff was great. Loved the coffee, water bottles always available. Room was good except the really dirty window view room 340 on 3rd floor - would have been nice to see the greenery outside and limited channels on tv. Overall very good .

food was good location was good employees were good first room was unacceptable---room smelled, bathroom was dirty, toilet was loose, toilet tank lid did not fit tank, felt unclean. moved to another room---curtain rod fell off when opened curtains, shower had no shampoo, took bath mat when cleaned our room.
