Located in the heart of Madrid, just 82 ft from the Puerta del Sol and near all the city’s most important museums such as Reina Sofia and the Prado. The rooms of the Comercial are decorated in warm, Mediterranean colors and have attractive, wooden furniture and classic-style colored panels on the walls. Some of the rooms are exterior. The rooms also feature a complete bathroom. The Hostal Comercial is well connected with metro links that can take you to other parts of the city, the nearest metro stop being Sol. You can easily walk to many of the sights including the Plaza Mayor where you can enjoy an authentic espresso or glass of Sangria in one of the pleasant cafes. Relax in the classic-style lounge area where you can enjoy a calm atmosphere with Romanesque furnishings and a view over Madrid. Here, chat with other guests and browse the internet.

The staff is very helpful! We needed a key duplicate and they were available at the middle of the night to provide it. In general super-friendly team. The room is small, but has everything that's needed - a working AC, bathroom, mini-fridge. the location is the best. It is really noisy as you can here both street noise and neighbouring rooms. But still ok if you just need a place to sleep after a busy day.

The location was good, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly Nothing that I can think of, the room was on the 5th floor, which wasn't an issue for me, though it may for others. But there is an elevator for those who need/want it.

It’s a small space with everything you need (I booked a single room) The guy who serves the night shift was rude and unprofessional. He has no costumer service awareness

The hostel had a nice atmosphere, and everything was clean and well organized. It’s a very convenient and comfortable option for anyone visiting Madrid. Overall, a very positive experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

It is very centrally located, all touristy places are within walking distance. The room was outdated, the wall had a huge dent/crack and the sink has cracks too. The room was also smaller than I’ve expected.

Clean room, comfy for one person, guests get everything they need to be comfortable from check-in. Enjoyed the fact accommodations never interfered with my travel agenda or a source of worry.. So difficult to find, not a good value, wrong side of busy area for walking or local cafe settings.
