Toilets seems to be a little old. May need some update. Nespresso coffe machine would be better. And a little carpet on the floor might soften the mood.

Great location. Room was comfortable. A gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in getting me into my room as soon as possible which was welcomed since I had flown all night internationally. Safe surroundings in the area to walk even as a solo female traveler.

What did I like? First and foremost, the staff. From the manager Luis to the Toñi at breakfast and everyone in between was just stellar! Location is absolutely great right across from Parque Retiro and away from the noise yet walking distance to the active Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. I would stay here again. While the room itself was comfortable, the hotel lacks the atmosphere you would expect from a property with “Palace” in its name. The hallways and room entrances have a somewhat office-like, almost industrial feel, rather than a warm or elegant ambiance. The property would benefit from updated decor or renovations to create a more inviting and refined experience that better matches its branding.

The breakfast was enjoyable The dirty bathroom with toothpaste residue and other stains clearly visible around the sink and shelves left behind previous guests. The ill equipped room where lamps were missing and no air cooling air conditionar. The dangerously slippery floor in the shower. Where are the USB contacts?

The location is exceptional a lot of places near by in walking distance. The restaurant is great too!

The location next to Retiro Park was amazing and a short walking to hang out at the Ritz. Excellent service from the manager. Smallish room but on par with most of Europe.

The shower was not the most friendly for kids. Slippery and difficult to bathe them.
