Hostal Palacio Luna

Great location, walking distance of main street, lots of restaurants around. Room was small, but clean and functional. AC was not enough for the heat wave, and the elevator is quite small so we took stairs.

it was very simple and clean. the staff were really friendly and helpful the location was great -there is a kettle in the room but there was no coffee provided, only tea - having coffee available would be greatly appreciated -very little space (but ok when you go to the room to only sleep)

It is clean. We stayed for two nights and the maid made the room for us without extra charge. I also like that it has an elevator.

Place is spotless clean. Location is convenient with few restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Staff was helpful and welcoming. A bit noisy. The windows are not sound proof. Two high steps to get to the elevator which makes difficult for people with disabilities. However, this is very common problem in many accommodations in older buildings throughout Spain.

Really clean, checkout at noon is great, both the guy at the desk and the cleaning lady were very nice. Bed comfortable. Really safe area across from the police station.

Liked the bathroom and bed was Ok. Sound goes through walls. We could hear neighbours coughing. Also, the plaza in front is noisy and echoes all sound. The windows have very little soundproofing.

Clean and good location

This was a well located hotel and a very great price. The rooms were clean and the AC was great. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage there after check out - though it wasn’t in a secure location, just out in their small lobby area. The staff was very kind though. It’s not a very homey room since it’s all tile. The rooms are very close together and with all the tile I could see it getting loud if other guests are being loud. I only stayed one night so it had everything I needed, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a few nights.

Nice location a couple of blocks from Grand Via in Madrid. Good beds, very clean, quiet room. Room is a bit small and simply furnished.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff

The staff is very nice and kind. The location is perfect, in the center but not among the noise. Wanted to open the window, but the bed is so close to the balcony door. So for changing and feeling comfortable I had to keep the balcony/window doors closed always

The construction inside looks too old. The view from my balcony has a massive construction ?️ going on so very noisy starting at 8-9am so can’t sleep because is not sound less.

I was not given a code or a way to get into the main door and I was not told the check in desk was on the 3rd floor. So getting to check in was a little rough. We only got in front door because someone was leaving.

Nice place near many attractions in Madrid. Very clean and updated. Staff was helpful storing luggage. It was easy to find and access the unit and nice to have staff on site. Our Uber driver told us to be careful in the neighborhood at night. We didn’t stay out late and saw no signs of problems, but it didn’t make us feel great upon arrival. The ac stopped working in our room right before we went to bed so it was hot. Management addressed it the next day but it didn’t help our comfort while there.
