location is decent pretty disgusting, you walk in and it smells foul. bathrooms are clearly not cleaned well or often at all. no AC or air circulation so it gets very hot. yeah don’t stay here

Worst experience in Madrid

Location, comfy beds, quite cheap as for Madrid I had a very disappointing experience. I was accommodated in a different hostel than the one I originally booked. The room had more people than agreed, the private bathroom promised (and confirmed during a recorded call) was missing, and there were no lockers under the beds as advertised. The photos on Booking.com do not reflect reality. Staff didn’t even realize I had already checked in, and they only offered a room change after the first night.

2 members of the staff were very handsome and friendly. noisy and messy guests, hostels are supposed to be collectively taken care and you should always be respectful and reasonable... unfortunately for the first time in more than 20 years and 15 countries this was not the case.

The accommodation is very central. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Directly at the hostel is also a flea market every Sunday. Everything is very clean and the cleaning staff cleans once a day. The beds are also very clean and super comfortable.

Yes, everything was fine, though the breakfast was… interesting. It was basic - just cereal, bread, and a few other staples - but the way it was set up felt oddly amusing. Tucked into a corner for people to help themselves, it reminded me of a hamster cage, or like tossing bread to pigeons and watching people swarm around it. I found this rather amusing to watch, I can’t imagine what it’s like when the rooms are full. Would be nice to have some black tea that i could help myself to while watching the pigeons feed
