Hostel Thirty One

It had the amenities I needed but was not clean. Bed bugs. Lots of people who were not apart of the hostel coming in and out like a waiting area for food pick up orders. Lots of people who weren’t clients of the hostel would come and lay on the beds in the shared rooms and leave when they wanted to. Sheets were dirty and I got bed bug bites.

Toilets r dirty and the bed not confortable ,many things r broken like flexible shower ? n chairs ?, lots of noisy. Well, I don't not recommend it. Thank you

It was a terrible experience, the place is awful with many people using drugs. Besides that, check-in is very confusing and the accommodations are terrible; the photos don't reflect reality.

LOCATION OPERATION IS VERY BAD

It used to be a cheap clean convenient hostel in the last couple months. Not any more.. Kitchen utilities are all gone. No plates, no cups, almost nothing! Cooking facilities are almost very limited or almost none (sometimes me) No coffee or tea as seen in the pictures. Lights of handicapped toilet are not functioning so not usable. Some toxicated folks, especially at nights make noises and annoyed ses, and security is getting out of control. Urgent actions needed!

Nothing 1.. The kitchen was off limits to clients for most of my stay. The only people that could use the kitchen were the employees 2. There are no plates, bowls, utensils and just a couple of pots and pans with no lids in the kitchen so the rare times that the kitchen was open, you can't cook 3. They keep bicycles in the small dining room and there are only 4 chairs in the dining room for the entire Hostel 4. There are cockroaches in the kitchen and dining area 5. The refrigerator door doesn't close and it is filthy 6. The electrical boxes , wires and fuses are very old and some do not have covers. In fact, there was an electrical fire last week in the kitchen and dining room 7. There are also cockroaches in the bathrooms which are very dirty. The toilet are also broken and the showers are also filthy 8. The employees are very aggressive and really didn't give a shit about the clients 9. Half of the time, the codes for the door, and the button to call the staff don't work 10. The condensation for the air-conditioning leaks water on the floor of my room and it is next to an electric socket. 11. Theft was a problem. Two cell phones disappeared, and food was always disappearing from the refrigerator 12. A couple of fights broke out, and the clientele was very noisy 13 The police showed up regularly for ID and drug control Don't go here. I have stayed in 3 other hostels in Madrid. Hostel Sofia was almost as bad as this place. Hostel Las Rosas and Hostel 165 were way better

Friendly staff Well... It was a very low low low budget accomodation, so no complaints here. :/ but yeah, I dorant feel cozy at all. And it's rather unclean.

It can get crowded and noisy on busy times, which can be annoying. Distance from city center but for short stays is great.
