Hostel Floridita Adults Only

When we arrived late at night, the room had not been cleaned from the last departing guest. It seemed a long walk to reception to resolve the problem and 'upgrade' to a more expensive room in the sister hotel for 2 nights. However, the chap on reception was kind and helpful. The hotel manager was genuinely empathetic and caring for the well-being of her guests.

We had sea view and I expected much less for a hostel service. The room was cozy, big and comfortable, separate toilet from the shower. We did not have any breakfast or lunch. Parking is awful, it takes hours to get a place, even when you have to pay for it.

No lift and no air conditioning (there is a fan in the room)

The cleaner came in every day Constant noise from neighbours lawn mowing as well as cutting down trees very early in a morning lasting all day, 1 vending machine outside building coin operated which for those who use card payment is useless, 2 beds 2 chairs in room only not even a cup to rinse mouth after brushing teeth, mosquitoes are rife there had to keep doors and windows closed which in turn makes the room very humid and sweaty

The property is located in a great spot away from all the noisiness and chaos of Magaluf but still close enough to the beach and the shops. It’s cleaned everyday and it’s generally maintained well. The lack of parking was painful because everyone coming to Mallorca generally rents a car. Additionally not being able to park at the hotel meant that we had to park almost 2 kilometers away from the stay. The vending machine only accepted coins (we are in 2024 ??) and only had snacks while the hotel had a fully equipped lobby shop. Would’ve been glad if that available to us too as it’s barely any additional effort.

Floridita is a small block around 3min walk from Florida Hotel, so even though the stay was on a budget (very cheap) room, we could enjoy the facilities of the main hotel, that were amazing ? We arrived after midnight and the check in is in Florida Hotel, we were greeted by Antonio that was brilliant, and the best customer service I had in Magaluf. We paid for the breakfast €14 p/p absolutely worth it, and the view is amazing. The pool area has some stairs that give access to a tiny little beach that is fantastic. Should be more signs in the Floridita saying the check in is in Florida Hotel, because we had at 2AM someone trying to enter the block knocking really loud thinking reception was there. The actual room in Floridita wasn't very clean, that was the only issue. The room itself was pretty good in terms of space, decoration, facilities, great to have separate toilet from shower, but the cleaning wasn't great: The light switches were really dirty (looked like make up - foundation on the toilet one), the fridge was quite dirty outside on the door, and one of the beds had a bit of chocolate wrap when pulled the duvet. I known is a budget place and great potential, if they just sort out the cleaning. The main hotel is absolutely amazing so maybe they can sort out this small issue and make the small Floridita even better too.

The room was spacious and the balcony was really nice. You can hear everythink through the walls.

It was a pleasant stay, the accommodation was clean, nice and simple. Small room with balcony and view on the sea. I recommend it to everyone who plans to spend a vacation here and will not spend a lot of time at the accommodation. Lack of storage space, but regarding to size of the room it is understandable.

Good location, quite and calm. Close to two different beaches and far enough from party places. I loved the access to the roof!!! Definitely greatly improved the experience! Should be mentioned maybe louder about these facilities! Amazing views both from the balcony and the roof! Unfortunately there was a mistake and I got the key for a room intended for someone else and therefore I got a visit from strangers in the middle of the night. Staff was not willing to take responsibility for it really and I am not very confrontation. Hopefully it is just one time thing. Plus, no AC! The fan is pretty loud and not efficient in lowering the temp.

It was as shown in the pictures, apart from the balcony which didn’t have the views expected but alright regardless. Deceiving balcony views. The wifi did not work efficiently all the time, sometimes it disconnected and would not connect for a long time. The fan was fixed to one position only, so still felt quite hot. Some of the TV channels did not work. The shower curtain was not as efficient as the water would spill out.
