The host was very kind and helpful, and the room itself was comfortable, if a little rustic. The location was pretty central and had great character (I used to live in this neighborhood, so walking around was pretty nostalgic for me). Several cockroaches occupied the bathroom even after the host applied bug spray; the surrounding area smelled like cigarette smoke; and the bidet fell apart.
