Staff and location was incredible. They provided so much helpful information ahead of the trip. Complimentary welcome drinks and snacks in the room. The room turned down with dessert was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast had many options. Beds, specifically pillows, were the most comfortable I've had in my 3 months of traveling through Asia so far. The entire staff was amazing but I would love to give a special thank you to the doorman Hafis. He was so kind and welcoming. I loved our conversation about hiking, traveling, and appreciated his local recommendations. Nothing. I'd read reviews about noise and had earplugs on the side of the bed but noise didn't bother me at all. I had a great night sleep.

Overall the hotel is clean, nice design that give a authentic look. Staffs is super friendly A bit noisy but is a good location. Maybe improve on the food.

Great location, comfortable room, interesting history captured in the design and use of this historic building. Our plans interfered with taking advantage of the breakfast, so we can’t answer to how that was. Every member of the staff was exemplary. I can’t think of anything!

The location is fantastic, it was just next to Jonker Street. Hence, during the weekend, we could just walk out and shop around the street. The room was exceptionally comfortable, their staff were very polite and accomodating, the amenities were complete, and the best part is their pineapple tarts. They gave out a couple pieces in the evening and it was just a perfect way to wind down while enjoying it with cup of tea. Nothing in particular. Personally, I felt the room was a bit dark at night due to limited lighting/mellow warm light. However, this didn’t affect our overall experience at Liu Men; it was still a superb stay!

Beautifully designed small boutique hotel at a great location, easy access to attractions and local delicacies. Room is spacious, bed is comfy. Free parking at the premises. Breakfast was lack of choice and some options are not available. Had to have English breakfast and it wasn’t tasty. No milk alternative for coffee either as I am lactose intolerance and for the entire stay can only have black coffee while at the hotel.

Gorgeously renovated property right in the heart of the historic district. Impeccably clean, attentive, kind staff, beautiful design aesthetic, thoughtful hospitality, and very comfortable beds. Loved this place! Everything was perfect

It was located in an ideal location. It was very bespoke and beautiful with so much attention to detail. The staff were unreal, and so helpful in every possible way. The breakfast was delightful. They had so many wonderful sweet things for her guests to enjoy in the room. We particularly loved the history of the building as well. Hard not to like everything about the property. We did note that as all the rooms open up to the beautiful small courtyard for meals are served that you could hear the dishes being cleared and set up for the next morning later into the evening. It could bother people if they were trying to sleep and was super light sleepers. Nothing a fan couldn’t help with though.
